Anahuarque Quintanilla based on the tower recordings, it’s seems like due to poor visibility the pilot didn’t realize he was flying too low and crashed into the mountain at 180mph, this would have been instantaneous death without warning. I know it’s not good but at least they didn’t suffer or have time to go through all that fear.

Cant even begin to imagine how difficult it was for him in that moment. he knew that not only his own life was about to end, but that of his daughter...a life he helped create. How he felt as a father knowing he couldn't protect her. Kobe’s greatest fear was realized today and it wasn't the fear for his own life, but for that of his beautiful daughter. He knew his daughter's young life was ending. He knew he was leaving 3 other precious children behind. He was there when his sweet girl took her first breath, and he was there with her when she took her last. Thats the only solace I can find in this...that he was there. In her final moments, he was there to remind her of his undying love. I hope that baby felt every ounce of love her daddy had for her. I hope it overwhelmed her, and carried her straight into paradise.

I met Kobe a little over a year ago while working at the SLC airport as a ramp guy. He tipped me $50 after I helped him with his luggage and he genuinely thanked me. Kobe was a diamond in the rough and an all around great guy, I’m not a basketball fan but it hurt when God took him from the world.
