We,the mere mortals, can only imagine how does it feel for him in the old age cause he was the greatest voice, incredible artist, man universally admired.Everywhere where he went to perform only the best could be heard of him.I guess that such great people really have to find the way to cope with it,with the fact that their best days are history, that they cant do it anymore. But I also guess, that its great feeling to know how big is your legacy, that you wont be forgotten, surely a soothing feeling.

Studio recordings usually adhere to the way the score is wriiten.Live performances have more of an exciting pulsation&many tenors have taken liberties with the music& at times were very successful in pleasing the audience.Del Monaco;s voice was described as having a bronze like sheen to it& was more beautiful live than on records. When MDM1st started singing,he could not be heard past the3rd row in the theatre. He went back with his teacher&together they built1of the greatest dramatic voices ever.

      Hi, american enemy.
3:19 its just a G4, not even clear, its even a studio version, on a 1961 it was worser.
Its obvious what that guys are imitators.
Why i was involved in that!? I dont know, everyone of "operatic channels" screams on size, that dramatic timbers are exist, showing their screams, but talking that this is a top, etc....
You know my reaction on pavarati in past. But now i am not so angry on his only early records. But i know that he was still tiny uncoloured tenor and flat. And his trio crooks concerts, friends were made so many bad for opera. With micro he cant hit a top, he didnt deserve a popularity, money, like caruso, monaco, melchior, volpi....
When he tried a spinto he cracked his voice, i cant listen his struggles, not cause i hate, but i am touched of this, he was a real tenor on tapes, i have to accept that, but he isnt a legend or the best

If nobody cares lets put all basses, baries to tenors. Who cares? This is not opera, they will ripped their throats, like it was, but dont call this opera, its a bunch of screamers, its a horror.
Giordano was a totally naivy dilettante in vocal, like verdi. verdi put a bari tomango to sing his heavymetal, why that naivy dilettante in vocal let that bari to sing his heavymetal? Cause he produced a nonsense, a very big heavy roles and for that roles a real voices were unsuitable cause of tiny, so that dilettantes need a reproducers, they put mezzos to sopranos, baries to tenors and for them there is no any big differences how G4 will be sang by them or A4, they hear a some scream, struggling and for them thats ok.
Bari widy monaco was so lack and bad in 1949 Un di allazzuro, giordano dont care of quality, for duch composers need a big sizes, top doesnt matter. Bari widy monaco can sing a 10000 perfomances, but he was just a sandwiched bari with a middle, no any top from that bari.
Listen un di allazzuro spazio by Cocozza, he was bari too.
Dont call them a tenors, please. My american enemy.
Pavarati showed a real tenors top at his prime with uncoloured voice, noone of that composers didnt teach a tenors how to coloured their voices, they forbid a tenors, who was tiny behind baries, most of them were like pavaraties, how uncoloured tenors can sing a heavymetal in opera? Noone dont care how to coloured a tenors. If pavarati will be coloured, he can hit a spinto roles easily, on drama its so hard, its heavymetal more

@@maximus1295 You don't like Giordano Puccini and Verdi and you won't tell me what tenors you like and you will only criticize what you don't like Perhaps it may be time for you to write and sing to your own operas, so the world can realize what a genius you are. The only enemy you seem to have is yourself, and once again it's time to terminate our one sided conversation that you are not contributing to without criticism. I like these 3 composers and many tenor voices. Many Neapolitan songs are sung in different pitch depending on whats comfortable for the singer. You did like many of the tenors that you now call screamers or baries, a word that I cannot find. But now you have had an enlightenment and they are all bad and screamers. Perhaps need need a new vocal coach or teach instead of putting down tenors that have dedicated their life to this art form. You seem very unhappy. Arrivederci and I hope you find your way in life.
