I used to mock guy Fieri until I learned everything he does for hungry/underprivileged people in the US. He's a fucking cool guy with a big heart.
He also volunteer-cooks for forest fire fighters and evacuees etc. Hes seems like a cool dude.
His show is total schlock, but he's loving it and you can't hate someone for it. I can't stand to watch any of this shows, but I love the guy for what he is.
I share birthdays with him! He also does a lot for the LGBT+ community on behalf of his sister

I've done security/roadie at a Sammy Hagar concert..met him and he was the nicest, funniest, down-to-earth guy you would ever want to meet.
My dad back in the 70s met Sammy when he was in Montross. His then wife gave Sammy a free trim on his hair. He said Sammy was the coolest guy. Sat and talked to you like you’d been friends for years.

Maynard is also a US Army vet, he didn't see any combat, however, he excelled so fast during Basic, AIT school, etc etc, that he was actually offered a full ride scholarship to the most distinguished military school in the world, that school being West Point...does anyone here realize what kind of a savage one has to be to receive such an offer? He turned it down to pursue his music career after he was honorably discharge....Hooah

It's been a dream of mine to visit his vineyard, let alone meet Maynard and just thank him for saving my life and the lives of many others.
His vineyard opened the year I began culinary school. I wish I still had the bottle I ordered that I was going to drink after graduation, but it was stolen when my apartment was broken into.
What a trip to see these three together.

He's also got a pretty bad ass car collection. I give him credit , he's quite the entrepreneur also. That's probably why him and Sammy bonded so well , can't go wrong with good music , food and drinks!
I really don’t know why people hate on Guy. He’s always been a pretty down to earth guy. I’d drink a beer with him any day.
It's the image he has on TV of just being this bleached out dork stuck in another era. But pretty much everything you hear about him is very positive and as cheesy as DDD is it spotlights small independent restaurants, which is never a bad thing.

Maynard could be putting on a poker face because he's in front the camera. With that being said, I don't think that's an act. He is a very intelligent and articulate individual. Anyone that wants more about Maynard and his backstory and vinyard, theres a documentary called " Blood into Wine". Its an awsome documentary for anyone that is a Maynard fan. Ive watched it many times but last time i searched for it, it was hard to find but its out there.

Maynard is from my town Scottville Michigan where I serve on the city commission. I saw him at City hall just last month when he stopped into town. Everyone here has a lot of respect and admiration for him. He seems like real stand up guy.

I absolutely love that Sammy loves the life he lives , I don't know enough to comment on Guy , but he seems very cool , he's a family first type dude so in my book he is awesome. I'm looking forward to following Guy and trying recipes, they look amazing. Maynard is a family favorite.

Maynard isn’t just a talented voice for 3 bands...he’s smart with his vintage. Smart, smart man. Kudos MJK. Watched your show in Amway Arena in Orlando some years back. Amazing show. Tool is the best rock band followed closely by APC and Puscifer is just another flavor of his musical talent. MJK is just platinum, straight platinum.
