Poe Paddy State Park is absolutely my favorite place on Earth. It may not be the most scenic, it may not have the tallest mountains, but there's no place I'd rather be.

Every summer we went to Poe valley for vacation. Friends went to the beach but not us and we loved it! All five kids plus the dog. My poor mother! I was there when the young child lost her life in the parking area of the lake. My parents were not good that week but we were so young and were shushed from it. Found out later in life about her passing (hit by car)
I took my dads ashes up there last year as this was when he was the best dad ever. He just loved it. Great place and thanks for the best hike ever. Such memories......

Bernard Oyler was 19 years old and killed by a falling tree. He had been at the camp 4 months. He was born and lived in McKinley Station, PA (near Kane, PA) and was survived by parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

I think this has the most ferns in one video since I started watching the channel. I really like that section since I favor ferns. The bench by the creek was perfectly placed, there were so many areas in previous videos that could use one. It's wonderful how viewers send snacks, providing extra food helps stretch the budget so favorite content makers can keep going places.

Hi Cliff, two lovely little state parks, I loved that creek in the Poe Paddy park and I think it would make for an interesting creek walk, you never know you might find the best arrowhead ever. A lovely time hiking, thank you for sharing, much love. xx💖

Until his passing in "89" my grandfather was a member of Camp Keystone, located on Little Poe Trail. Haven't managed to get to Poe Valley very often since then. Your video was like a breath of fresh air. Also watched your video of your hike on Susquehanna Trail. Never knew what 2 blazes ment. Or that it indicated the direction the trail turned. 👍

Wife and I spent a long weekend in that area a month ago. We camped in one of the Bald Eagle State Forest motorized camping spots. Poe valley and Poe Paddy parks were nice! Poe Valley I think is where we rented a conoe just for some fun on the water. We love that area and can't wait to get back up there!

The stream at 18:00 is Penns creek. Penns Creek is Pennsylvania’s largest, and longest limestone stream. Bubbling from a cave located about 15 miles east of State College, the stream stays modest in size until it reaches Spring Mills where it is joined by Sinking Creek.

Looks like Chip has a booboo! Tick bite? Definitely a puncture wound there! I can't stand it when wounded wildlife shows up in my yard! Have a grey squirrel, Mama, who looks like she got into a fight with another squirrel or the hawk tried to take her. Saw an attempt by the hawk just the other day! But it looks like she's healing up now! Pennsylvania is so beautiful! Thanks for reminding me!

You mentioned while driving about seeing a bear. Where I live near Bristol Indiana by the Michigan state line a young black bear was hit and killed. Very odd to have a bear in this area. So very sad to see it. I hope you get a chance sometime to see one on your travels.

You are close to my stomping ground. You mentioned your next video will be the tunnels. I access the Poe Paddy Tunnel from the other direction...from east of Weikert, and the parking area to access the trail is not far from Cherry Run Road. The Mid State Trail is the trail through the tunnel and beyond. Walking out to the tunnel and over to Poe Paddy is one of my favorite walks. It's an easy trail to do, and a nice one for a bike riders too. Thanks for taking us along. God bless.

Next summer, when you have a meetup, you should think of having one of them at a nice, Fishing Spot, to fish with, and talk, and meet your fans! All of you together might have a really good time, and who knows, maybe you might pick up some really good Fishing Tips too while you're meeting and talking with your fans. Especially, if you would have it at a place where you could have like a weekend long meetup place, it would give you a lot more time to meet your fans, and your fans to meet each other too. You never know, there might be some really good friendships that would form out of such a meetup too. Yourself, and alot of your fans more than likely would have a really great time together too. That would make such a meetup, a really GREAT MEETUP FOR EVERYONE TOO. It might make for some really good videos too. Take care now! Love your videos!
