In the spring of 2024, while witnessing a solar eclipse in West Virginia, USA, I shared a memorable moment with my daughter Kate. We parked in the school lot, eagerly watching as daylight turned to darkness within minutes-a thrilling and slightly eerie experience. Sharing a pair of glasses, we marveled at the sun, an experience that will remain in our memories.
Kate was particularly fascinated by the eclipse's effect on shadows-small objects casting larger shadows-a discovery that delighted her as she exclaimed, "Mom, I'm bigger than you!"
Reflecting on this, I believe it's crucial in business and leadership to understand how our bright and dark sides (our shadows) may show up in different contexts.
Today on #LeadershipKitchen, I'm joined by Paolo Ghigo. Paolo, a mechanical engineer and former army lieutenant, has over three decades of experience in engineering, oil and gas, and packaging sectors. Since 2014, he has led Tecnocap Group's American operations, relocating from Italy in 2012.
    In our conversation, we explore:
    - How leaders foster growth in others
    - Strategies for personal and professional growth
    - Balancing respect, empathy, and business results as a leader
    - The empowering journey of acknowledging and integrating our shadow sides as leaders
Join us in this enlightening discussion and share your insights!
