    When would be a good time to start introducing social stories? Any particular development milestone they need to meet to be ready for social stories?

    • @sainyam4autism
      @sainyam4autism  Před 3 měsíci

      Hi, to start social stories, it is advisable that the child should be able to understand small instructions, even if the speech is not there.

    And what about screen time?? Can that make a child autistic??

    • @ruchisharma7307

      Even neurology says that

    • @sainyam4autism
      @sainyam4autism  Před 5 měsíci

      Yes, excess of everything is bad, in nuclear families where both parents are working, in many cases, we give mobile phones to our child at very young age, just to keep him/ her busy, which cuts his communication from the surrounding world. At the age when the child learns by observing people and things around him and develops communication skills, he gets engrossed in flashin and loud mobile visuals. As parents, we believe that we should use screentime wisely, only for teaching concepts...with minimum screen exposure of not more than 30 minutes a day, keeping in mind that our children are good audio visual learners. Also make sure that you avoid Mobile phones while teaching., use a bigger screen for training the child, if you feel the need.

      @@sainyam4autism Thank you sir for the reply. Now that i have already ruined things by giving him excess of mobile during his development years; i am paying heavily for my mistake. Its been 7 years of therapies. I sacrificed my career . Giving all the time to my child. He has bcum better though; still looks like its a long way to go and that's not easy one for sure... 😞😞😞😞

    Sir language kaise sikhye my daughter is very good at learning .

    • @sainyam4autism
      @sainyam4autism  Před 5 měsíci

      Hi, for language development, there is a 3 step process.
      1) Build vocabulary
      2) Develop understanding of meanings of words ( comprehension)
      3) Consult with a speech therapist to stimulate oral motor muscles.
      For 1st 2 steps use the comprehensive pre primary learning module from www.learning2life.com (online learning platform for children with Autism).
      Step 3) ko baki dono steps ke saath saath chalaiye, it will be more effective.
      If your child is a quick learner, you can expect the language and speech development in a few months time itself..
      Watch the speech therapy at home series as well for more home based activities.👇
