I bought this kit based on this video. Girlfriend's 2004 TSX didn't have Bluetooth and needed it. Installed exactly as the video described. Easy.
You clearly get for what you pay. This is well built kit with high quality components. There are cheaper alternatives that should be foregone. Spend the money to get the level of refinement and quality that this delivers. No squeals, no feedback, great Bluetooth connectivity, no frustrations. I'd buy this kit again in a heartbeat. I just installed this tonight in my 2005 tsx and it was incredibly easy and I was very impressed by the quality. I wasn't going to install the mic because I was skeptical and so I called a buddy on it before fully installing it and he said "it's the best sound quality I've heard from one of those". Thanks gta team for offering a quality niche product.

Picked this up locally two weeks ago. The audio quality of the bluetooth is quite good! Had a non-bluetooth module from Gtacarkits in my last car and this one is a huge improvement especially being wireless. No static and no alternator whine which is something I experienced with their non-bluetooth kit in my 2005 Accord. Happy to see an updated module :) Wish it was closer to the $150 range but if you install it yourself, it will be worth it.
FYI the connector for the TSX is difficult to see, if you have a small mirror it will help with the install.

I bought the GTA car kid for my 06 Accord Navi two years ago and it worked flawlessly. I have purchased another unit for my 04 non-Navi TSX and I am having an issue. The unit powers on but the radio display flashes on CD 5 track 1 (5-01) and no audio is transmitted. Pressing the disc up or disc down buttons (preset 5 and 6) has no impact on the head unit. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on troubleshooting? I’ve plugged the unit in multiple times and attempted powering the radio on and off multiple times to no avail. I’ve even emptied the in-dash CDs in case it thought CD 5 was next to be loaded (my Accord displayed CD 1-01 when connected to the GTA module) but I can’t seem to get the CD changer to scroll to CD 1 so the module can transmit.

I bought a 08 tsx that already had this. My son used his phone once but when i paired with it I show it connected on my phone, can see the seconds ticking on whats being played but no sound comes out.
Hell do you know if this will work with my Honda Accord Euro? It is the Acura TSX in the states i believe.
Important question: this car already has a built in microphone for hands free calling.
Do we still need to connect additional microphone?
I feel answering this question will attract more people as it would be simply plug and play with no hassle

I had one installed in my 05 Acura tl .. once my battery disconnected and I had to put the radio code it didn't work anymore
Does this kit allow for usb thumb drives? Can I access songs if I plug into the slot? this would be for this kit, Navy, pure Bluetooth. I want to access songs, maybe song files from a Thumb drive.
Simple Ocap probably not because you would need some type of processor and operating system in order for it to read the file system on the USB drive. on top of that it's going to have to index that entire USB drive into a readable format

Hi, Yes it will work with Navigation, and yes your will get an extra mode added. Because of navigation, your connection will be at the back of the radio most likely, and the connection will be occupied. Do you have to disconnect any connector in order to connect the pure bluetooth kit to a 2005 Acura Tsx without Navigation, Or does the kit come with a y-cable to make everyting works?
Sometimes its just a pre-wire for XM radio, so you can just disconnect it. But we also provide Y-cables for your car, if something gets disables by removing that connection. Most of the time is just a pre-wire and doesnt do anything. Thank you.
Question im buying it but what’s the difference between the stereo? I have both the standard and cam radio but I don’t have navigation. So I use the standard stereo instead of the other option?

Hi, to access the kit you will need to have the button functioning. If the button is missing or broken, you wont be able to access the kits mode. Thank you.

Standard kit. Once you remove the middle cubby, the connection will be occupied because of XM, remove that connection on plug in the kit instead.

You dont have to, but if you want to do phone calls with our kit, you will need to have the microphone. Thank you.
Does this come with a lightning cable? or a modern cable to use a phone instead of an ipod cable??

with a microphone whoever calls you wont be able to hear you if you answer a call through bluetooth

You would have to choose the nav stereo option from our website, and the kit will come with the y-cable to make nav and our kit work together. Because of nav, the connection most likely will be at the back of the radio and occupied, hence you will need to use our Y-cable. Please send us an email if you have any more questions. Thank you.

Because this car didn't have aux set up for a while. My 2004 TSX Doesn't :(

I have this on my TSX and I have to say I'm highly disappointed. In the event you don't use this device and want to use your radio or XM it has a loud hissing sound that never goes away and depending how fast you go the louder it gets. If my product is defective then thats one thing but if this annoying sound is part of this product then I would've never purchased it.
Did you figure out if it was the unit that was defective? Has the hissing gone away or you removed the kit? Is your TSX equipped with the navigation unit?
No, When I called for customer support they didn't help me at all, thye just said its not supposed to happen. Not to mentioned that I've tried 4 different iphone 6's and none of them can detect my Bluetooth kit. Only my iphone 4 and iphone 5 can and nothing else.

wideopenoutdoors I paid retail. I bought the 1 x Pure Bluetooth Kit for Honda and Acura - 2 Gen (PBT2-HondaNav). It was $154 all paid and shipped. Comes from Canada, so a few extra days to clear customs. I can tell you that it is 100% worth it. There are "bargain" options for much less. I am confident that this is superior in design, build quality and functionality. It is well worth it.
I just wanted to see what they run today. Clicked the link, Calculated total and it came to $104 shipped to Texas. Smoking deal.
