It’s so good to hear from you again, Jen! I often think about how difficult it really is for CZcamsrs to post videos of their lives AND so often. This is not a TV show, this is your life and as much as I think all of us appreciate you sharing your life, in the end your happiness is top priority. You sacrificed a lot of hours filming, editing, and communicating with everyone and I agree that you should give yourself that time away. I would love to see more videos of NZ towns! Thank you for doing that. We still plan to emigrate in a few years and Taranaki is most likely our destination (husband works in oil and gas industry). Could you show us a few more snippets of New Plymouth, Fitzroy, Bell block, and surrounding areas? Which of those areas do you think real estate is the least expensive?

I miss your vlogs, too. But I get it. At times, you inspired me to want to try it myself but then it’s like, “nope! Can’t share!” I think it’s amazing what you have shared, so tastefully and it’s set a high bar for me on what I consume on CZcams (no other vloggers!). So while I miss your vlogs, I appreciate what we had and am supportive of what you need. ♥️♥️♥️

LOL he only gets his learner's licence when he turns 16 next March! But he's been saving and working hard for ages and watching sales of his dream car (Mazda MX5) and a great deal came along so he bought it. He just can't drive it yet!

I'm not gonna lie, I miss your vlogs. I've been watching your videos for years now and they've always been like this safe harbor for me.
I like how you keep your videos simple, real and about every day life. Thank YOU for being YOU.
But I do completely respect your decision to not vlog at this time.
P.S. Thai food is my favorite type of food. I have to eat gluten free and I like how thai cuisine has a lot of gluten free options.

Thanks for this video, really enjoyed it. I've always been a fan of your videos when you take us along for trips around New Zealand, so I really look forward to any future videos of that kind! Your vlogs are something I miss as I've always found them to be informative, entertaining, inspiring, comforting and helpful in so many ways (not least the early part of this year when they were a tonic in the midst of all the horribleness going on) but it makes absolutely perfect sense that you'd only make vlogs if you feel inspired to do so. Pad Thai is the perfect starter dish! Rice noodles in a peanut sauce. I actually prefer tofu in mine (not vegetarian) but chicken is also good. Thai Tea is delicious with it, but not sure about it with your dietary restrictions. It’s a blend of black tea with sweetened condensed milk (could use coconut milk!) Even to make at home....so yummy!

Thanks for going into thrift shopping, thats exactly what i wanted to know, I'm glad someone else was also interested in thrift shopping too. I am also a fan of your Vlogs, i find they instantly make me happy, but i understand that you dont want to share your personal life so much. I would live to see more of what NZ has to offer if you are going to film your trips. 🌻

Hi Jen. My partner and l live in Nelson and recently just returned from another road trip around the South lsland. There were so many kiwi out there in campervans and cars doing the same thing. Stark change from things pre covid. There are lots of tour and accommodation operators working in conjunction with each other offering amazing discounted packages. We encountered soooo many people from the north lsland during our travels, especially in Queenstown. We had a wonderful 10 days on the road and are glad we went when we did because come Christmas and New years it is predicted that kiwis are going to snap up all these package deals and the 'house will be crowded' so to speak. Anyway...hope you and Grant enjoy your holiday when yous do go.
