4:56 I agree with being able to remove the logo. If the idea is to conceal, I’d worry that once it becomes a well known concealed carry brand, having their logo slapped in the middle of your body is just going to tell everyone you have a gun on you.
I have the small. It now has 2 straps and no front velcro option. I agree. I wouldve preferred the logo gone for discrete carry. The paracord does get in the way. My g26 and p365 both fit with pinky extensions, optic and light in the small bag. But everywhere i go. Unless youre hiking, People stare at my bag. I think people assume you have a gun.
I suggest carrying another method while you got the 945 on and instead of having a pistol in the 945, have a taco. That way when people look at you, you can open it up and show them it is a taco holder.
As someone who is new to carrying, this is the only way i carry while I figure out different holsters. So far i love my bag. Relatively comfortable. Easy to draw from. I have three holsters for mine. Carry any one of my Glocks. 19.5 , 45 w/ light, 43x.
I’m from Cali so I’m limited to what I can do with a gun so got a Byrna and waiting for the 945 industries to come out with the Byrna holster for this tactical pack
You can email me at the email listed in the about me section on my homepage. What do you want to know? I carry my TACOPS in my 945 more than my other holsters now. It fits very well, even with a threaded barrel and comp, flashlight, and red dot. I don't have the extra mag carrying pouch for this bag, but that is okay because I still use my neo mag in my lefthand pocket to carry a backup mag.
I haven't gotten my hands on one yet, but they look pretty legit. The one thing the 945 Industries has that makes it stand out is the quick deployment tabs. I can draw from my 945 in less time than it takes to draw from appendix. If someone wanted to send me one, I would gladly give it an honest review. If you have one, do you like it?
@@BigTimberLodge I like my SOCP, I bought it on sale for Presidents’ Day. I have the x-macro so it’s a bit tight. The SOCP has fast rip red cordage to do a similar thing to the 945 tab. I might just buy the bigger 945 and try them both.
@trober1104 I haven't tried, but I believe you can fit a Glock 19 with optics and a flashlight in the larger 945 bag. It is cool to know that the Vertex bag has a rip cord.

Remove the logo and put a California state flag velcro patch and no one would know
@@BigTimberLodge a Velcro replaceable patch/logo spot on the front would be best. I'll put an LBGTABCDEFGHIJK+ on mine.

Glad you like these!
In my area, MN, I don't see anyone carrying fanny packs on the waist, let alone on the chest. What are you seeing in your area?
I agree with it needing some sort of padding on the cross strap, after a while it does get uncomfortable and digs or irritates my neck
Agreed
Great video! Wondering if that holster is from 945 industries as i dont see an option on their website for that colorway. Thanks in advance!
The kydex holster was made special for me as my payment from @945Industries for this review. I don't make money from #945industries sales.
I would suggest reaching out to them and asking if they have any cool kydex to choose from.

Let me know what you think
A dear friend got me into the sling bag idea. I just want to pick your brain for a good fit for an x macro tacops out of 945 industries.

You can put heat shrink over the Paracord
The issue is the paracord stands up and you can grab it with the tab if it's at the right angle.
You can also put it in the front of your pullover hoodie
Interesting. Are you saying don't use the fanny pack and just put it in the hoodie pocket?
No you can put the bum bag in side the front pocket of your pull over hoodie and have the bum bag open (I will email what I am talking about )
Hey buddy, I was hoping you could compare the 945 and the vertex SOCP. I have the SOCP but it isn’t my Goldie Locks bag.

Is there too much Xtra room if your carrying 43x with a red dot? How much larger is the large bag?
@fredmccall6911 If you want to carry the 43X with a red dot, you will have to go with the larger bag.

Do you think a 92 beretta elite ltt, can in this bag?
No clue. Email the company. They will let you know.
My boy corny 😂
Yup, it happens when you become a dad. The dad humor lives inside me.
@@BigTimberLodge good information though … it’s helping me decide between the bags
@@kalicoolguns they are dropping a new version of the small bag very soon.
