This show had no right to be this clever and funny. Seth MacFarlane clearly brought his A-game talent to this show and I cant wait for Season 2. Truly a hilarious surprise for 2024.
I've heard he actually had the idea of Ted as a sitcom first, so I'd imagine he's come up with lots of ideas long before this season went into production.
But honestly, the jokes aren't that different from your average Family Guy episode, they're just in a context that's a lot more genuine and fun.
Seth is clever writer, he just needs to find his groove and it's writing familty dynamics. American Dad is proof of this.
whenever i read comments like this i always read them sarcastically (even though they mostly arent) cause talking up Seth MacFarlane sounds so fake, but I always agree with them cause they are so true this show to me was so amazingly funny and engaging

The world deserves more Ted content especially that there's so much stuff that you can joke about today's society, Seth MacFarlane better make more of these. It's been 9 years since the second movie came out and I'm thankful that the series is just as funny as I can remember
