Hi Brian: Thank you for this very timely and succinct video series. I have a large Portal Form with five subgrids for repeating tables and multiple file uploads each with defined metadata with SP integration. Understanding the relationships will help us take the correct steps in the beginning. Your series of Tutorials have helped me tremendously. Many thanks for your trainings.

Hi Brian. How could we create a composite primary key in a dataverse table?

Hi Brain. Thank you. Quick question that I think will be helpful for others. Do you know if it's possible to set the custom settings so that the parent row can be deleted without removing the lookup value in the related rows? From what I can tell I can only chose from the three options; Cascade All (delete both the child row and lookup value, not what I want), Remove Link (remove the lookup value for all related rows, not what I want because I want to keep this intact), or Restrict (prevent the primary table row from being deleted when related table rows exist, again not what I want because I don't mind if this is deleted as long as the lookup value stays intact). Any thoughts? Thanks so much.

Hi Brian, first of all thank you for very good tutorials. Really helpful. I have a question if it is possible to have nested forms. We have two tables which are related. ActivityID from Activity table is realated to many in LOtable. We need to see the list of Activity ID and by selecting one of them go to the list of associated records from the child table (LOtable) and edit those one by one. Any idea?
    thanks

what is the best option if I want to create a relation between products and categories, cause I was thinking to create a autonumeric as a primary key, but I´m confused with the lookup type

Nice demo! Why is that a child record can only be associated with one parent? Is there a way around that?

I cant understand how the two tables are linked. Which columns are beeing checked as equals to creat a relationship?

  • @diamondunbreakable3257

why do you have to draw the tables?. There should already have a visual for that just like in powerBI, Access etc

That diagram type visual is not available in Power Apps / Dataverse.
