Please keep my two grand babies in your prayers. Aria 3 and Layton 21 months old. They both have the flu and strep throat. On has type A - FLU and the other has Type-B FLU. The ER doctor stated that they both could develop both types if they shared their sippy cups or foods. They could get very sick. Their mother is pregnant with their baby sister who is due in two months. She needs prayers also. Doctor said she didn’t need the flu. None of us do. My son is recovering from a recent surgery and I have a weakened immune system due to health issues cardiac, respiratory and renal issues. We all need prayers, but I pray for my babies and baby on the way and the mother.

Amazing transformations! I like the pattern of the plywood on the bottom shelf despite it not matching the wood on top. I love the tall piece, I think not staining the wood was the right decision. I'll definitely buy vevor if I ever have the need.

Linda you could use oven cleaner to remove the paint/stain. All you do is cover the surface with the cleaner and let it sit outdoors in the sun for a few hours, it also gets rid of the orange color from wood. ❤
😮 Please don’t try this furniture hack. Ovens aren’t porous like wood that will soak in the cleaner. The chemicals are at best dangerous and at worst highly toxic. You can find the ingredients of cleaners and their effects online. John’s furniture repair and other reputable furniture restorers on CZcams all discredit this idea.

Do I have to take it all the way down to the wood, can I just paint it, etc. all those types of questions and you answered them for me! Thank you! Your backyard looks peaceful. I love your final thought today. Spoke to my heart. I'm thinking I need an overhaul. God will help me. I've been reading Ephesians 6: 10-18 every morning to help. Hi Linda, actually, you can totally stain the wood before stenciling with an oil/solvent paint/sealer. I don't know if in America you have Cetol by Akzo Nobel. But it's a great wood protector, sealer, varnish, stain. All in one, since it comes in so many shades. Although they claimed to have migrated to a water base, the real thing is that it does not work as a water based paint. You give the wood 2-3 coats and then you do whatever you want on top. The longer you let it curate, the more adventurous you can get. I even salvaged some old furniture by sanding, appling Cetol and then wax (the very same you use on the floor). It looks like a job done by a professional polisher. I'm sure you have products that perform the same way in the US. Stencils work just fine on top, and you get the wood the shade you want. Because you can even mix it with some grease based aniline or oleum paints, just in tiny amounts. You virtually get ANY color your mind can think of!

Hi Linda, beautiful work as usual. Just for your FYI, or maybe for next time. They do have a veneer tape you can put on the edges of plywood to make it look like sold wood. It works great. My dad used to use it on cabinets, he was a very good carpenter. Just thought I would let you know. Have a blessed day.

Hey Lynda they d make a wood veneer that all you do is use a iron and ron it on the edge of your plywood, it's called Edge Banding and it makes the plywood look like gorgeous wood!! Just wanted to let you know

Loved the tall drawers. The table I did not like the blue. I would never put a dark blue & black together. You also had some curved sticks on it. I'm surprised you left them that way. Still looking forward to your next video!
What a downer comment. Just because you don't like it or it's something you would never do doesn't mean it's not a beautiful piece. Everyone's taste is different and I happen to love dark blue and black together. That's not what I see on it but no matter what color it is, it's beautiful and she's very talented. Some comments are best not said at all!

They both look great! I have a couple of small junky tables in our barn that I now have ideas for! On your drawers, if you wanted to stain them, I’m curious about why you didn’t stain and then paint the stencil. Maybe you mentioned it and I missed it. Anyway, these are wonderful!
As much as you use the 1" slat boards, it would be much cheaper to buy a length of it at Home Depot, Menards, or Lowes, than buying them from Dollar Tree. I love all the projects. I think I'll do the table top one on one of my living room end tables.
