bro this is why i subscribed break the game down so much and make it easier for me to understand thank you man i really do appreciate it 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽a lot of your videos are going to help me out on the court
I had a d2 game yesterday where I kept splitting the defense and getting to the rim then I missed at least 5 wide open layups because of how surprised I was
I’m right there with ya bro. I don’t matter sometimes how tall you are. If your shot selection in the paint is off, you can get worked by even small guys. Every great finisher needs to know how to do this.

Good veer finishes there. I usually opt to hook or float it over defenders if the lane is not completely open. Thankfully, playing pick up, you don't meet many people 6'4" and up lol.
My main problem is that those 6'7 guys don't even jump xD they wait until i threw the ball in the air and block it then. No chance for me as a 5'10 guy
This depends on you hand size, really. If your hands are just bigger than average, not the shaq like hands, you can pretty much command the ball wherever you want to finish.
“He was despised and rejected- a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. When I watch high school games it's just awful. They can't finish unless it's a layup. Even in the WNBA they may have a very short shot, but still they have to have that 45 degree angle layup and it just isn't always there. The whole idea that the offensive player can jump into a defender and get free throws from it is bad. It just eliminates legitimate defense. I hate it. While there are specific techniques (mentioned in the video) a lot of it is the same kind of "anticipation of the defense" or "manipulation of the defender's thinking" that can be done before a drive to the hoop. Knowing what their tendencies are or planting an idea and then doing something else is part of the game. It isn't all just physicality. Not everybody is Wilt Chamberlain or LeBron James.

Toughest skill is to finish on the way down. It takes great core stiffness plus upper body strength to be able to resist against gravity! 💪🏾
Yesh
I need that upper body
Yeah I'd say finishing is the hardest skill to master In general

Needs more prime Tony Parker.
Shorties where you at?!
Chandasouk gone practicing
Nguyn Nguyn 12 and 5’7 but we always scrimmage the high school guys and I’m too short compared to them so I gotta watch this

Have I missed a video on how to play like Olajuwan, Jabbar, or other greats near the basket? It's pretty fundamental for everyone to learn.
I miss Tony Parker, a true mid range beast
Very good video thanks
Pascal Siakam needs this. He can't score on long, good defenders.
Nice Instrumental 😌

Can you do a breakdown on Pistol Pete, Larry Bird, or Isaiah Thomas? ( Pistons )
Didn’t know kemba was on the Celtics that early
Drose is my inspiration when it comes to attacking inside the paint
trae/rondo is mine
Idk I just got really good at finishing by just playing against taller guys and being creative
Its simple. They Equip the Giant Slayer and Slithery Finisher badges
Thanks
Great video
People always complaining about their size but when a video came out to explain how you can use it ,nobody watches.
A video for centers and big men would be nice too
Thanks!!!
Could u make a post video, something like: "the lost art". Love ur vids btw.

King Nu that’s Fat Joe
All these Celtics guards got me confused man 😭

You should mention that it's better to avoid bringing the ball back down to your hip, it's better to keep it near your shoulders

How to finishing around the rims against Zone defense as a smaller guard?

@@ByAnyMeansBasketball I'll work on it! :D
You not initiating the contact first even if they don't just that gets them off balance.
You can also do the same hand, same foot finish like shown in the video. Use it to mistime your defender.
Floaters help
Please make a video on how to shoot off the dribble and off the catch
hope these will work when quarantine is over, most of the competition i go against are like 4 inches taller than me
I suggest you pray for growth, watch the defenders to see what they do and then avoid it, work on new skills.

Could u plz make a video on Pascal Siakam. That would be lit.
What’s the best way to improve arch on shots like the Hookshot and floater?
Arinze M33 shoot the ball higher.
Arinze M33 elbow above eye
Try floating it as high as the backboard. No one can block layups/floaters when you throw it high at the backboard. That's what I do.
Hope this helps!
This is why i always get my ankle sprains. 😅😂
dope video. watch this shit daily. Kid Oceans the producer whats the name of the beat
kemba, isaiah same thing...
Can you do Donovan Mitchell’s between the legs step back 3. I love this move and I would like to perfect it myself ? Love this channel
