As someone who worked in the film industry, I strongly suggest to have a solid relationship/communion with God and to have him test/show/grow your true character. The industry calls for a lot of sacrifices especially the higher up you go. "For what is it for man to gain the world, but to lose his soul." But I wish you the best :)

Sometimes your calling isn't what you do for an income. Sometimes your job is just how you pay your bills and fund following your calling. It's nice when the two allign though :)
I’ve recently felt like the Holy Spirit has called me to ministry. I just feel like I’m not ready for the job. While most people would probably have no problem with it, I stutter. I’m not a fast talker. And I feel like the enemy has used that to weaken my relationship with God. But I God said that I was ready for it and he would be with me. So I encourage everyone who reads this that even if your scared with what your calling is just now, good things will come out of it and God will be with you. Joshua 1:9

Yet God provided for him and used him as a leader and servant of his ministry. God uses us where we are, and if he says your ready, then become confident in yourself and Jesus who will walk with you every step of the way. I actually think we are in more need of those who talk slower to help those around us understand the words we’re saying. The comment @emimuffin3420 about stuttering is completely true, and I hope it encourages you. Additionally, it's great that you know this is an area you are weak in. It's harder to get hit when you know where the punch is coming from. The enemy always comes for our weaknesses the closer we get to God and the more we obey Him so stay vigilant. Lastly, there will be many times when you won't feel ready. As you've acknowledged, it's about trusting God and moving forward. It takes intentional acts of faith to settle in and be at peace with the fact that if God wants you to do it, He's already prepared you and everything you need to get it done. You have to watch your thinking here, too, as you continue to grow in confidence to live as the person God created you to be. "I can't" statements are usually false, and the ones that are true are irrelevant because God can and will where we can't and are unable. P.S. Unlike everybody else I've never even made it to high school let alone college, mainly because of my short term memory problem. But yet God gave me the gift of knowing how to drive and knowing somethings about and how to operate a smaller tractor or lawn mower tractor anyways. So I really wonder a lot nowadays with the way everything is now, if I should get My Drivers license and my own pickup truck and go out and do some lawn care for people, to earn a little bit of extra money for my family's small ranch needs and wants. I do feel a lot that god would want me to do something like that. 👍

An additional recommendation: Volunteer at your local church to gain skills and find out what Gods call is for your life. I was very shy. When I volunteered at church, I learned to get comfortable greeting people. I later took on more responsibility and it helped me later when finding a job. I still volunteer but now I share this with youth in church who are confused about their career path or who don't have work experience. Church is also full of people with different career backgrounds and experiences. So it's a good way to get access to counsel from those who (hopefully) are godly people and want the best for you.
God put on my heart to go into medicine when I was 7. I thought I wasn't smart enough for medicine so I tried to be a American Sign Language interpreter but that door closed. After going job to job, was honestly at a dead end. So the Lord spoke through my family and I went to medical assisting school. It was TOUGH for me, but by the grace of God he helped me through it. I have now been an MA for 9 years and continue to enjoy it. If God truly calls you to something and you are willing to listen and follow, don't be afraid.

I left a well paying job to move to another country and want to start a job I like rather than keep doing what I used to do. I'm letting God lead the way. I took an intro class to my desired career after moving and most of my classmates have all gotten jobs, but I haven't yet. I think I needed to learn to trust in God, just like it says in the video. I have felt myself draw nearer to Him in my wait, and He has provided for my family's every need at just the right time. He is so good! I'm thankful that over time, He is teaching me to let go of the stress and anxiety of change and uncertainty. I don't know how long it will be before I am gainfully employed full-time, but I know it will be where He wants me to be as long as I listen for His guidance. Im 15, i Wish for a career in motorsport but my friends tell me i don't have a chance. I, on the other hand, believe that God made me fastlearning for a reason, so, even tho i am a little old for motorsport, i truly believe God will help me with my journey. I wish I saw this video 20 years ago when I was losing my way. Now 20 years later I am lost and stuck. Pretty much the only step I do well is #3 but so far I have not had any real revelations. I have been guided quite well in other aspect of my life but career and work seems to allude me. The best jobs for me have always been more physical, but my body is slowing down even as I try to get it back in shape. And one of my fears is finding a good career path and having my body give out, to injury or just not able to keep up with the demand. I will take this video and think on it, maybe something will sink in. Finding that goal, what I am meant to do or working towards seems to be the most challenging so far, I am sure once I got that figured out the rest would fall into place.
My father was against my wish to become a medical assistant (In my country it's very stressful) then I prayed to God to calm my dad and since next day he did not try to convince me for another job. Glory to God 🎉❤🙏
Just had leg amputation and still in therapy waiting to get prosthetic. Definitely need to find new direction of what to do for work. Going to remain in prayer and study of God's word and need to start fasting. Very uncertain of future life here on earth and waiting for direction from the Holy Spirit.
@@ThetreeDraggon Bone condition made my ankle basically disintegrate and after dealing with it for about 1.5 years it got infected and started spreading infection up tibia and fibia so the had to take it about halfway between knee and ankle. In the long run I should have less pain and more mobility. But as a truck driver before I'll have to see what I'm able to do and most likely different career field.

I am currently 19 soon to be 20 ,ever since 2021 I wanted to do welding and I was always top 3 and I always found it fun to do welding but this year (2024) I missed out on the opportunity to go to College because of Deadlines and Lack Of Transport then I had another opportunity at a Welding Internship for the best Welding Company on the Country ,but turned it down becoz I was under the Impression I did not meet the Requirements and I felt soo Devastated and regretted it but I prayed to God he took my regret away and right now I am waiting for a Asphalt Construction Internship program which I pray I get but Welding has been a Long term goal of mine soo this Video really is a Wake up call for me to do more research and Ask Around soo Thank you very much for making a video like this 🙏🏼✝️❤️ God bless you

I was forced into a career I didn't want for many years and I lacked so much knowledge of God's word for that period of time. It's not that I wanted money for myself but I had to pay rent because living with family. If I had the knowledge I do now, I would of had a better career now. I just didn't have a good up bringing and my family is horrible with money, I mean I'm at the age where I should already have my own family. The people I live with right now hate God so much and don't want to hear the truth. How many times can a person be broken? What drive a person to want to follow God? The kind of person who know they sinned against a Holy God.

Bro, I’m 36 and this hit hard. I was in the Army, I used my GI bill to become a helicopter pilot, I’ve pursued law enforcement for 7 years. I have a job that I am meant to be in right now and I still struggle with knowing if I am on the path God has for me. This was encouraging. Thank you
I was just doing research on science and art careers i wanted to pursue in the future. I was overwhelmed by the choices and their salary ranges thinking it wouldn't be enough. Most of my family work in the medical field (doctor, pharmacist, nurse, etc) which make good money, but I personally wasn't interested. It made me feel guilty thinking i wouldn't be successful or make them proud but, this video popped up on my recommendations. I remember asking God to help me make the right choice when it comes to my future career and you posted. The Lord is good and even if He is silent, He is always working 😭❤

Just to point out, the KEY thing you mentioned in this video was your pursuit of those things. You PURSUED being a firefighter and allowed your desires to reshape that. Then you PURSUED law enforcement and allowed your desires to steer you in the right direction. I can say, I’m lacking the PURSUE part. I had a similar path to finding my current career. I got an expensive college degree and pursued first being an Air Force officer and then an air traffic controller, despite both being very poor matches for my personality. After then working in an extremely boring office job for a few years (but what ended up being a perfect job for the pandemic), I finally decided to pursue the dream I had since I was eight- to be a truck driver, and have never been happier in my job. I still struggle with the feeling that I wasted 10 years of my life, especially since I still have a balance on my student loans, and still struggle with explaining to people why I walked away from a potentially lucrative career path.
Looking for something spiritual this morning as I ate my breakfast, I came straight to your channel and clicked on this. It was exactly what I needed. More and more, I see my gift as a teacher and a leader. The experiences we go through really prepare us for our calling.

I’m 21 years old I never had a job I was an informal caretaker of my mom so I knew the preservation of life, organization, attention to detail, patience, communication skills, and just being able to readjust and get out my comfort zone. I recently lost her on may 11th I tried to apply to become a deputy for Los Angeles county I studied but it’s what I have always wanted but then I was scared of having to kill someone. I failed the test which then leads to the VPAT but it’s okay because now I’m finding what God has in for me. And I trust in His plans!

I letterally had a schools options evening to choose your subjects for you career and I was soo so lost. As my vision is to become a pastor I didnt know what skillsets I need. I thought it was about getting money to financially support and build a church alone but actually, its about building it with others. I dont have to do evrrything but really pursue and enhance what Gods put inside my heart. I was about to sleep when this popped up. God is always watching and providing 🙏

Recently I signed up for a trade school for IT. I also recently renewed my faith. And it was like god was showing me who i really was. Technology has always been a passion of mine. I pray God will help me get away from this deli job that I work at. It's a good job that helps keep me busy but I feel it has drawn me further away from my Father in heaven. I pray He'll help me find a job that brings meaning to my life, that draws me so close to Him that it brightens those that I work for. In relation to tip no. 5, I started speaking with Paul Allen. I look to have a career in Sports Journalism and I want to know how to navigate it with faith. Paul is the radio play by play announcer for the Minnesota Vikings and he is also a Christian. At the same time I’m praying to God to know if this is really the career for me. I do believe that I have gotten signs that it is but it’s a long process.
I don't know why I'm commenting about my calling, but I will comment anyways (I guess it helps me assess myself): I'm going to be studying engineering this Fall. I wanted to be an engineer because I have a passion in trying to invent things and I believe that God gifted me with excellence in math/logic. I really love the calmness of life where I live in. I'm also going to a nice church and I have a lot of good connections around. This makes me want to stay in the same area where I currently live. Everyone keeps telling me to find a second job if I want to earn more money… but, the thing is, it feels like God set it upon my heart to only keep at least one job that I’d be dedicated to for the rest(or some) of my life. I can get kinda lazy sure but not for like “my entire life” or anything. How do I pull through like this, what else does He want me to do?

I'm working for a charity that was founded by a Christian couple. They believe that the charity is their mission and expect it to be mine as well. However, even though I am there to support them, their mission is not mine as God is leading me to do something that is more in line with the gifts and talents He has given. As someone who worked in the film industry, I strongly suggest to have a solid relationship/communion with God and to have him test/show/grow your true character. The industry calls for a lot of sacrifices especially the higher up you go. "For what is it for man to gain the world, but to lose his soul." But I wish you the best :)

I’ve recently felt like the Holy Spirit has called me to ministry. I just feel like I’m not ready for the job. While most people would probably have no problem with it, I stutter. I’m not a fast talker. And I feel like the enemy has used that to weaken my relationship with God. But I God said that I was ready for it and he would be with me. Additionally, it's great that you know this is an area you are weak in. It's harder to get hit when you know where the punch is coming from. The enemy always comes for our weaknesses the closer we get to God and the more we obey Him so stay vigilant.
Lastly, there will be many times when you won't feel ready. As you've acknowledged, it's about trusting God and moving forward. It takes intentional acts of faith to settle in and be at peace with the fact that if God wants you to do it, He's already prepared you and everything you need to get it done. You have to watch your thinking here, too, as you continue to grow in confidence to live as the person God created you to be. "I can't" statements are usually false, and the ones that are true are irrelevant because God can and will where we can't and are unable.

Unlike everybody else I've never even made it to high school let alone college, mainly because of my short term memory problem. But yet God gave me the gift of knowing how to drive and knowing somethings about and how to operate a smaller tractor or lawn mower tractor anyways. So I really wonder a lot nowadays with the way everything is now, if I should get My Drivers license and my own pickup truck and go out and do some lawn care for people, to earn a little bit of extra money for my family's small ranch needs and wants. An additional recommendation:
Volunteer at your local church to gain skills and find out what Gods call is for your life. I was very shy. When I volunteered at church, I learned to get comfortable greeting people. I later took on more responsibility and it helped me later when finding a job. I still volunteer but now I share this with youth in church who are confused about their career path or who don't have work experience.
Church is also full of people with different career backgrounds and experiences. So it's a good way to get access to counsel from those who (hopefully) are godly people and want the best for you.
God put on my heart to go into medicine when I was 7. I thought I wasn't smart enough for medicine so I tried to be a American Sign Language interpreter but that door closed. After going job to job, was honestly at a dead end. So the Lord spoke through my family and I went to medical assisting school. It was TOUGH for me, but by the grace of God he helped me through it. I have now been an MA for 9 years and continue to enjoy it. If God truly calls you to something and you are willing to listen and follow, don't be afraid.

I'm a bit in this very dilemma now. I left a well paying job to move to another country and want to start a job I like rather than keep doing what I used to do. I'm letting God lead the way. I took an intro class to my desired career after moving and most of my classmates have all gotten jobs, but I haven't yet. I think I needed to learn to trust in God, just like it says in the video. I have felt myself draw nearer to Him in my wait, and He has provided for my family's every need at just the right time. He is so good! I'm thankful that over time, He is teaching me to let go of the stress and anxiety of change and uncertainty. I don't know how long it will be before I am gainfully employed full-time, but I know it will be where He wants me to be as long as I listen for His guidance.

I wish I saw this video 20 years ago when I was losing my way. Now 20 years later I am lost and stuck. Pretty much the only step I do well is #3 but so far I have not had any real revelations. I have been guided quite well in other aspect of my life but career and work seems to allude me. The best jobs for me have always been more physical, but my body is slowing down even as I try to get it back in shape. And one of my fears is finding a good career path and having my body give out, to injury or just not able to keep up with the demand.
I will take this video and think on it, maybe something will sink in. Finding that goal, what I am meant to do or working towards seems to be the most challenging so far, I am sure once I got that figured out the rest would fall into place.

Just had leg amputation and still in therapy waiting to get prosthetic. Definitely need to find new direction of what to do for work. Going to remain in prayer and study of God's word and need to start fasting. Very uncertain of future life here on earth and waiting for direction from the Holy Spirit.

@@ThetreeDraggon Bone condition made my ankle basically disintegrate and after dealing with it for about 1.5 years it got infected and started spreading infection up tibia and fibia so the had to take it about halfway between knee and ankle. In the long run I should have less pain and more mobility. But as a truck driver before I'll have to see what I'm able to do and most likely different career field.

I am currently 19 soon to be 20 ,ever since 2021 I wanted to do welding and I was always top 3 and I always found it fun to do welding but this year (2024) I missed out on the opportunity to go to College because of Deadlines and Lack Of Transport then I had another opportunity at a Welding Internship for the best Welding Company on the Country ,but turned it down becoz I was under the Impression I did not meet the Requirements and I felt soo Devastated and regretted it but I prayed to God he took my regret away and right now I am waiting for a Asphalt Construction Internship program which I pray I get but Welding has been a Long term goal of mine soo this Video really is a Wake up call for me to do more research and Ask Around soo Thank you very much for making a video like this 🙏🏼✝️❤️ God bless you

I was forced into a career I didn't want for many years and I lacked so much knowledge of God's word for that period of time. It's not that I wanted money for myself but I had to pay rent because living with family.
If I had the knowledge I do now, I would of had a better career now. I just didn't have a good up bringing and my family is horrible with money, I mean I'm at the age where I should already have my own family. The people I live with right now hate God so much and don't want to hear the truth.
How many times can a person be broken? What drive a person to want to follow God? The kind of person who know they sinned against a Holy God.

Bro, I’m 36 and this hit hard. I was in the Army, I used my GI bill to become a helicopter pilot, I’ve pursued law enforcement for 7 years. I have a job that I am meant to be in right now and I still struggle with knowing if I am on the path God has for me. This was encouraging. Thank you
I was just doing research on science and art careers i wanted to pursue in the future. I was overwhelmed by the choices and their salary ranges thinking it wouldn't be enough. Most of my family work in the medical field (doctor, pharmacist, nurse, etc) which make good money, but I personally wasn't interested. It made me feel guilty thinking i wouldn't be successful or make them proud but, this video popped up on my recommendations. I remember asking God to help me make the right choice when it comes to my future career and you posted. The Lord is good and even if He is silent, He is always working 😭❤

Just to point out, the KEY thing you mentioned in this video was your pursuit of those things. You PURSUED being a firefighter and allowed your desires to reshape that. Then you PURSUED law enforcement and allowed your desires to steer you in the right direction. I can say, I’m lacking the PURSUE part. I had a similar path to finding my current career. I got an expensive college degree and pursued first being an Air Force officer and then an air traffic controller, despite both being very poor matches for my personality. After then working in an extremely boring office job for a few years (but what ended up being a perfect job for the pandemic), I finally decided to pursue the dream I had since I was eight- to be a truck driver, and have never been happier in my job. I still struggle with the feeling that I wasted 10 years of my life, especially since I still have a balance on my student loans, and still struggle with explaining to people why I walked away from a potentially lucrative career path.
Looking for something spiritual this morning as I ate my breakfast, I came straight to your channel and clicked on this. It was exactly what I needed. More and more, I see my gift as a teacher and a leader. The experiences we go through really prepare us for our calling.

I’m 21 years old I never had a job I was an informal caretaker of my mom so I knew the preservation of life, organization, attention to detail, patience, communication skills, and just being able to readjust and get out my comfort zone. I recently lost her on may 11th I tried to apply to become a deputy for Los Angeles county I studied but it’s what I have always wanted but then I was scared of having to kill someone. I failed the test which then leads to the VPAT but it’s okay because now I’m finding what God has in for me. And I trust in His plans!

I letterally had a schools options evening to choose your subjects for you career and I was soo so lost. As my vision is to become a pastor I didnt know what skillsets I need. I thought it was about getting money to financially support and build a church alone but actually, its about building it with others. I dont have to do evrrything but really pursue and enhance what Gods put inside my heart. I was about to sleep when this popped up. God is always watching and providing 🙏

Recently I signed up for a trade school for IT. I also recently renewed my faith. And it was like god was showing me who i really was. Technology has always been a passion of mine. But i have bigger aspirations than being a simple coder. I want to help the world. Maybe my time in IT might be the first step god took me on to help the world. In relation to tip no. 5, I started speaking with Paul Allen. I look to have a career in Sports Journalism and I want to know how to navigate it with faith. Paul is the radio play by play announcer for the Minnesota Vikings and he is also a Christian. At the same time I’m praying to God to know if this is really the career for me. I do believe that I have gotten signs that it is but it’s a long process.

I don't know why I'm commenting about my calling, but I will comment anyways (I guess it helps me assess myself):
I'm going to be studying engineering this Fall. I wanted to be an engineer because I have a passion in trying to invent things and I believe that God gifted me with excellence in math/logic.
I really love the calmness of life where I live in. I'm also going to a nice church and I have a lot of good connections around. This makes me want to stay in the same area where I currently live.
However, choosing to stay means that I may not be working in the coolest engineering companies that I dreamed to have.
I do believe that God will help me choose the right path. His plans are greater than mine.
Everyone keeps telling me to find a second job if I want to earn more money… but, the thing is, it feels like God set it upon my heart to only keep at least one job that I’d be dedicated to for the rest(or some) of my life. I can get kinda lazy sure but not for like “my entire life” or anything. How do I pull through like this, what else does He want me to do?

I literally just finished praying about what I should do, if I am wasting my time pursuing the career that I am currently pursuing, asked God to help me and direct me to do something that is according to His will for my life, then I came to youtube to find a song and boom this video is on my recommended. I think this is God's answer to my prayers
I'm working for a charity that was founded by a Christian couple. They believe that the charity is their mission and expect it to be mine as well. However, even though I am there to support them, their mission is not mine as God is leading me to do something that is more in line with the gifts and talents He has given. It is hard to explain or let them know this, so I can relate to some of what has been said here especially about the transition stage.Thanks for the video.

I want to work in Politics, to some degree. But it’s been impossible to get a job; it’s just too competitive. I didn’t want to be picky, I just want to do *anything* that lets me use my brain for Politics.
