I have found it hard to learn a foreign language from a person who speaks it as their main language because of the accent behind it. For instance, a person who speaks english as their main language but is also fluent in Chinese can help you pronounce a word easier than a person who speaks Chinese as their main language.

When I work with someone who is English Second Language and they apologize for their English, I tell them (very truthfully) their English is much better than my [insert their 1st language] will ever be. No one who learns a 2nd language that is 100% different from their "mother tongue" need apologize to someone who only speaks 1 language. I have a great respect for anyone who works at learning a completely different language system. Thanks for your channel and introducing us to new cultures and language.
