      Those are now called spare parts, they will come in handy someday. I have jars of them.😆
      If that was red Loctite, you are a brave, brave man.

    Thanks for this - I'd said in my intro vid that it didn't have a spring, but then I began to wonder - lol.

      they are the ceramic ball bearing assembly.

      Those are little o-rings from the Knafs bit drivers. They hold the bits in place (along with the magnets).

      I had to rewatch and totally see what you’re talking about now. Didn’t notice that the first time I watched the vid.

    Is this knife considered to be a switchblade? If so, it is illegal to carry in certain states.

    • @multitooltalk8777
      @multitooltalk8777  Před 7 měsíci +3

      This is not a switchblade. This would only be illegal in a few cities that restrict blade length and locking blades. Chicago, DC, Philly, and NYC are cities with strict knife laws.

    How can I tighten a loose flipper?

    • @multitooltalk8777
      @multitooltalk8777  Před 26 dny +1

      You should be able to tighten the pivot screw with a Torx bit.

      I’m not too worried about it. They were probably made in the same factory as the Mini Glimpse.

      @@multitooltalk8777 so? They don’t have the right to just steal his design and then market it as an original of the company.

    • @apex_alchemy_knives

      @@BrandonGavin_EDC most likely, have you ever seen the fine print in those oem contracts. When Begg Knives...not Todd but Mark got in bed with a cheap oem that would produce the budget d2 begg knives...I'd bet my bottom dollar he signed over the rights to the designs. Todd has alwa6s been the brains of that outfit and he doesn't have anything to do with "Begg Knives" only War Junkie and Todd Begg Knives 😎👊

    • @BrandonGavin_EDC
      @BrandonGavin_EDC Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@apex_alchemy_knives no I have not seen the fine print because I don’t contract with them but even so, they don’t have the right to do that even in a shady contract.

    • @apex_alchemy_knives
      @apex_alchemy_knives Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@BrandonGavin_EDC yeah ...they do...if they purchase the rights to the design, they can even get em made by another oem. China doesn't work like the USA. They don't morally have the right, but China...in general, gives two snips about morale.

      This knife is a solid tool I saw at harbor freight while buying a less solid tool I may only use the one time. I paid $40 for it
      ,I would compare it in quality to other knives I have that cost 2-5x as much.

    Like working on a Chinese toy. Wow you must have some serious time on your hands to waste time on polishing turds.
