      okay heres the teaa
Before anything else i just want to say that before Seventeen got the title 2nd Biggest boy group in South Korea they thrived so hard specially on trainee days they Sang so hard their throats gone dry, danced so hard their shoes literally broke covered with sweats everyday because of how evil their company is.
They created their success, They were the ones who strived hard to get to what position they are now they themselves created art and thats music and created the title most sync group with big height differences yet managed to slay sychonisity I am doing this cause they deserve this so please do appreciate every single song they produce and every member too😊
The Fandom name is Carat (plural:Carats).. Fandom colors are Rose Quartz and Serenity, we were named after Diamond since a carat makes a diamond and SVT are the diamonds. Even their Birthyear forms a diamond
      95 95 95
      96 96 96 96
      97 97 97
      98 98
      99
we were supposed to be called mountains but they named us Carats but Seventeen calls us Carrots, Inflatable tube man, Rats, Friends and etc. 😀
Seventeen is a 5 year 13 member group, why 17 when theres 13 members? They were supposed to debut with 17 members but some left pledis before debut it was because they should've debuted on 2013 but their debut kept cancelling and ended up debuting on 2015 with 13 members. 13 members+3 units+1 team=17
      Seventeen's 3 Units are
      VOCAL UNIT
-Woozi (writes and produces all of Seventeen's songs, Main vocalist and Vocal unit leader)
      -Dk (main vocalist)
      -Seungkwan(main vocalist)
      -Joshua (lead vocalist and visual)
      -Jeonghan (lead vocalist)
      HIPHOP UNIT
-S.coups (Seventeen Best Leader, Hiphop unit leader, main rapper and sub vocalist)
      -Wonwoo (lead rapper, sub vocalist)
-Mingyu (lead rapper, visual and sub vocalist)
-Vernon (main rapper, sub vocalist and visual)
      PERFORMANCE UNIT
-Jun (lead dancer and sub vocalist)
-Hoshi (Performance team leader, Main dancer, sub vocalist, sub rapper, Seventeen's Choreographer)
-The8 (lead dancer, sub vocalist, sub rapper)
-Dino (main dancer, sub vocalist, sub rapper and maknae)
SEVENTEEN is very known for holding the title SELF PRODUCED GROUP meaning members contribute 90% in the making of the song, choreography, merch and albums. Sometimes they even make their own music videos like Holiday and Snapshoot. Has also one of the best fanchants ever can you rap 13 names in 5 seconds? well you should practice now cause they got Reverse Fanchants, Singing while doing the fanchants, rapping the fanchants and now we have laughing, asmr and dancing to the fanchants (they make their own fanchants btw unlike others)
Also known for being SYNCHRONIZATION KINGS in the kpop industry, has topped the hardest dances multiple times already, topped the ranking of most in sync groups with the percentage of 95.77% rated by a computer program.
Vocal Kings too, their raps aint a joke too. A group where you can brag o anyome cause they are very very talented. They are also concept kings, can pull of any concept and has really good stage presence, some idol says they are very intimadting and scary on stage well what do I say? Kings
I see you love their music and talent but im sure a 100% youre gonna love their personalities more. You did not choose diamond life, diamond life chose you.
Welcome to the diamond life!! Here are some suggestions, watch these with a DANCE PRACTICE/CHOREOGRAPHY VIDEO and a PART SWITCH VERSION to lift your day up

This is swing! The whole choreography was made to emulate a musical number. One of the members was actually injured during this so you can see them leaving during the dance in the middle. Seventeen also participates in their choreography. Their performance team works with various choreographers and a dance team to create choreography for Seventeen. Some choreography have been choreographed solely by Seventeen members.
You were also correct, the last member is a b-boy! The8 was the leader of a junior b-boy crew and his crew placed 8th in a world tournament.
Woozi, the short member is actually 5’5 and the tallest member is around 6’2 so there is a significant height difference between the members. Woozi also is the main producer and lyricist of Seventeen.

Yes details are so important! Hoshi (the performance team leader that helped work on the choreographies, white hoodie and black beanie/purple suit in the stage performance) is also very strict about details haha Seventeen have always been rather lyrical in their choreo, like the hat save moment, the phrase for "be confident" in Korean is "straighten your shoulders" which is why they stretched out from the shoulder, and Jeonghan actually does the umpire sign for "homerun" in his part, and of course the bat swings. In Fallin Flower, they portrayed flowers so delicately and beautifully, Hoshi and the choreographers (for Fallin Flower it was Team Look crew, I think) had such a hard time to come up with the hand movements lol For their song Thanks they used the Korean Sign Language for "thank you" and "promise" and formed the letters T, H, X in the formations, stuff like that which is why their choreos feel so fitting to the song. If you want to see more, some individual members also have dance project series on yt, The8 the bboy has a contemporary dance series, the latest is a collab with a gogeum player and Dino has his Danceology series where he explores his own style using modern pop songs. Thanks so much for reacting to Seventeen! You're doing amazing work helping your dancers, I hope your kickstarter gets funded soon and everything goes well!!

7:39 I'm so glad you pick up on that! The guy who saved the hat and did the b-boy stuff at the end was a b-boy for 6 years and won a whole bunch of competitions before becoming an idol. His name is THE8 or Minghao.

I always love watching dancers react to Seventeen because they're always blown away. It's really amazing how they manage to be so synchronised in such a large group.
Btw, they actually choreograph/co-choreograph most of their choreographies. Hoshi does most of the choreography, Woozi (the short one) does all the music production and most of the lyric writing.

i've been a seventeen fan for 5 and a half years and i'll tell you they are consistent af. you can get literally any performance from them and you'll have nothing less interesting than this. no matter what the concept is they always keep it super cool with excellent execution. it's mind blowing!
fun fact: the short dude named woozi makes all their songs (others participate as well) and they make their own choreo, led by hoshi. what's great about it is that in kpop often the artists have to adapt themselves to fit a certain song and choreo that their company gives to them, but that doesn't happen to seventeen, they make the song and choreo adapt to them, and not the other way around. 😉

You know why it's satisfying to watch SVT perform? It's because they have so many members, yet they're the most synchronized group. So it's like watching so many legs and bodies moving as one.
Also, they don't have a dancer hole in the group. SVT looks like they have 13 main dancers. You could put a vocal unit or hiphop unit in the center of a dance break, and someone who doesn't know them will think he's the main dancer. They're disciplined enough to give energy and efforts the same amount performance team gives.

there's strength in numbers and the formation changes that seventeen does look so good because they're so many of them. these are the kind of formations that only a big group like seventeen can do and they're so good at that. even from debut, they've always been playing with their formation, like so many things happening at once but still so synchronized and in harmony. home;run is such a seventeen style music-wise and choreo-wise

this reaction just reminded of their project seventeen (pre-debut) where they performed in a school. and one of the audience said that (nonverbatim) "there are so many of them but they failed to dominate the stage"
and now their choreos incorporate "breaking up" into many formations and making use of the whole big space to show a great performance.

That was a really interesting analysis ! Seventeen have amazing formations and transitions and it's nice to see that appreciated. Complicated moves are great but a clever choreography that hits on the right beats and has creative and seamless formations/transitions is just as good.
As other people have said, Seventeen are involved in their choreos. Despite the different choreographers they work with, there's always a Seventeen™ flavor to it : interesting formations, interactive choreo, storytelling and breaking into smaller groups.
They're also super versatile. I would suggest looking at Don't Wanna Cry, Getting Closer or Falling Flower to see that range of styles they can present

Your insight and explanations of the performance are so valuable I love getting to know the inner works of a choreo and I am so glad you liked Seventeen .There is a sort of joke within the kpop community that Seventeen are the theater kids of kpop they have such unique choreo first because of their size (13 people) and second because they contribute their own ideas. Btw seventeen is divided into three subunits, vocal, performance and hiphop. Almost all of them involves in the production of their releases.
❤️ Woozi, the short guy is the vocal leader. He composes and writes almost all of svt songs.
❤️ Hoshi, the performance leader and all of perf members contributed to their choreo. In their early days, hoshi
choreographed personally but he did that less now because they're getting busy. So now mostly just contributing ideas.
❤️ Hiphop members have the most writing credits after woozi.
Anyway just a suggestion for next video of them is their newest dance practice video, for their japanese song 24H.

They are 13 and split into 3 units: Hip hop unit, vocal unit and performance unit. Each unit also has songs/performances more than worth checking out. At the beginning of the choreo, you have the three leaders (each for each unit).

Other CARAT friends may have given you lots of recommendations, because many good ones are hard to choose I would recommend 24H, Fallin 'Flower, Call Call Call, HIT and Fearless. On some of the older performances in other groups as well, they wouldn’t show themselves catching their breath on what we call the ‘ending fairies’ which I thought was incredibly impressive. It’s a trend at the moment though for idols to include the heavy breathing in their ending fairies, which is why the three members at the end are almost exaggerating it. I think this is probably the best comeback seventeen have done, because it just sums up their fun and classy group dynamic. They’re all incredibly funny, so I think this song just works with them performing it :)
