The reason for Sonia giving up on the PM post was not a surprise. She was all set to become the PM but it was Subramanian Swamy who intervened appealed to then President Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam that a foreign born national cannot become the Prime Minister of India. This shows even the most intellectual man in UPA bowing down to Mrs. Sonia Gandhi.

Not sure why so much fuss about that incident. We should appreciate the fact that both the channel and the interviewer have kept their eogs aside and did not edit the incident out. They could have easily done that...
Every interviewer goes thru this. Rajdeep and other interviewers alike would have gone through such situations many times in their career - upsetting great leaders and personalities. Having said that, frankly I did not see much interrruption from Rajdeep compared to other interviews which we see on Air in most TV news channels.
With all due respect to our honorable President - they both have ended the interview with a smile and a friendly handshake. Also note that, such a great man he is, our President was humble enough in acknowleding that he was a bit rude to Rajdeep.
    Kudos to both men!!

Whether you are the Prime Minister, President, or holding any post you are a citizen, a human being and everyone is equal and self-boasting is self-satisfaction but it doesn't satisfy others.
