The Different Types of Actuaries - What Actuaries Do.

Mduduzi Nkosi and Mathule Malerotho, both Actuarial Analysts by profession, on the different disciplines in the actuarial science profession. Thus, the different types of Actuaries and their roles.
Mathule holds a BSc in Actuarial Science (Wits) and Mduduzi holds a BSc in Mathematics and Economics (Wits).

There is a misconception that actuaries only work in insurance, but there are so many different types of actuaries. E.g.
Life Actuary, Banking Actuary, Pension Actuary, Investment Actuary, Gaming Actuary (they work for lottery companies), you can even become a Programming/Data Science Actuary. The possibilities are endless in this profession.
