We need to stop over gassing wingers running at fullbacks and thinking that’s cooking, that’s their job. Garnacho is a lively player and he’ll cause anyone some trouble but White didn’t let him get into serious positions. Garnacho had some moments where he got on the outside but Raya dealt with it as he should there, times where he shot on the outside and inside from distance but those aren’t serious chances.

Saliba is the best center back in the world, he's very similar to a van Dijk in his physicality and defending but he has the technical ability of a John Stones. He's only just turned 23 and every season he's improving. When he first started for the first team he was nervous on the ball and you could see that but over time he's slowly started to play with complete confidence in his dribbling. He will be a legendary center back.

Something I’ve realised in the past couple days…. Everyone, for years, has been going on about City and Liverpool. Both being the super clubs and pushing each other since Klopp and Pep came in. In Klopps 8 years they’ve only finished 2nd to City twice . Man U have finished 2nd twice as well and as of next week, unless we win it, Arsenals finishes 2nd behind City twice as well.
So why have we been lead to believe that Liverpool were a super team who always challenged for the league while Klopp was there..

That was a drab game. But, us Arsenal fans got the win we needed.
When you give reasons for an issue with player or team etc. it's not an "excuse" it's just a reason.
What United did was the basics as you guys said. With a better players, let's say an Olise, Fernandes and Rashford maybe they score more but they didn't. It's irrelevant for this title race as it's the last game next week and we'll be able to improve our left side which was isolated. Ødegaard's pockets of space was being overloaded by United players and every time Tomiyasu got the ball every United player pressed him. Left side became useless, we couldn't pass through the midfield either so everything was going down the right.
United only had 4 shots inside the box to Arsenal's 7, United only had 2 out of 14 shots on target, to Arsenal's 5 out of 11. United had a 0.64 X/G to Arsenal's 1.71 X/G. This is why X/G is so important
This game followed the same trend Arsenal have been showing especially in recent weeks, and that is, just getting the job done. People think Arsenal dominate games and pass teams to death but that's not the truth, they are 6th in terms of the highest ball possession in the league this season: City, Liverpool, Spurs, Brighton, Chelsea are all ahead of them, Arsenal dominate games in different ways, and that is by having a rock solid defense. Their last 5 games for instance, they average 46,8% whereas City average 65%, but what matters most is that they won all those games, but I just think people are deluted thinking Arsenal are this dominant team that suffocates teams, no, Arsenal are an effective team.
The last 5 games we have not been inverting fullbacks into midfield. When we do that (most of the season this far) we DO suffocate and dominate teams.

I knew this performance would give Man U fans some hope, but listen. That was one of Arsenal's worst performances of the season. Possibly their worst. I wouldn't look into the result too much at all. The mental barrier of beating Man United at Old Trafford was a component to why the game was so tense, plus there was a lot at stake.
If I was Terry I wouldn't look at this performance as a barometer of whats to come for united.

My opinion:
OK. A win and 3 points. I take it. That's the only matter for me now. The damaged already done in the Villa game. What else can I say? Just wait, hope and see what happen next. Anyway, based on this game as what I've seen...
1] Ten Haag seriously doesn't give a damn for this game especially many of their main players injured. 60%-70% players are old players and kids. And a few of them not play in their real position. Imagine lazy old Casemiro play as CB with an old Evans? McTominay plays as a CAM? So, this is a gift from Ten Haag to Arteta. Maybe Ten Haag agreed with Arteta and doing a favor as long you don't batter my team as what Crystal Palace did to us, I will be fine. He focuses on the FA Cup final and that is the only thing can save his job this season. Maybe Man Utd really hate and don't want Man City to win again this season. Too hard to swallow when your rival wins every year.
2] Today, both Tomiyasu and White get cooked by Amad and Garnacho. White is the worst. I agree White is good in going forward but defending??? He is very bad. He always gets cooked with pacey winger. Luckily, Saliba is always there to stop it.
3] I don't know if this a game strategy or what but looks like we stop playing after scored the goal as what been agreed by Arteta and Ten Haag before the game. At least for Ten Haag, the fans won't blame him too much on this result by putting most of old players and kids and still just loss 0-1. It doesn't look so bad compared to what happened at C.Palace. After the 1st goal, Arsenal just lost everything. They lose almost every 50-50 ball challenge until the last minute. First touch getting bad. They became so lightweight and Man Utd being so aggressive and press hard. Partey became a 60yrs old man. The passing at the final third became so horrible. Miss passes between them and not clicking at all. Like this is the first time they are playing together. If this is a game strategy by Arteta, then I can say this is the dumbest strategy I ever seen. You play against Man Utd team C, they are in very bad form, and we are in top form, and you still want to hold 0-1 until the last minute??? What happen if you conceded a goal by mistake or reflection in the last minute? Can you recover back? I don't like we stop attacking and defending by holding the lead 0-1 till the end. It just not good for my heart. Especially when it comes to Arsenal which always give a free goal to the opponent with own clumsy mistake at the back. We have seen it before many times.
4] Do any of you think we can still win this gamer IF Man Utd play their main players such as Varane. Martinez, Rashford, Martial, Shaw and Bruno? This is hard to answer. OR is it we haven't put the second gear in this game? I don't know if this is really a game management, or we are just unable to keep our mental strong enough or nervous in this situation and condition. Play a very important game at your no 1 all-time rival and very good in counterattack. But holding 0-1 is so dangerous especially against Man Utd.

As much as I’m so proud of my team for reaching a level that I had never seen them before (started supporting since 2015), if we don’t win the league this season we only have ourselves to blame - we dropped points in too many avoidable games.
We were perfectly capable of winning the league somewhat comfortably this season but we shot ourselves in the foot and that’s what’s so frustrating, not because City are an unstoppable team.
