Good work bud, know that first spot very well, some big old stripeys reside around there. 👍👍
Cheers! 1st in with the comment again I think! Nice work. Yes had a few decent ones that I didn't film typiclly. I'll deffo be back there. Might take the row boat out round the island when I get my act together for some piking!
The Budget Angler yeah mate I’ve personally seen fish of up to 3lb come out on live baits just across from the cutaway/restaurant part you first fished . On live baits
You caught some nice perch there well done mate. Drop shotting is a new method to me but i fancy having a go. How far from your hook do you set the weights ( or shot) and how long do you cut your fluro hook length please?
Cheers! It's an addictive method. I normally put about 3 to 4 foot fluro depending on depth. And tie the hook about 18 inches from end allowing lots of adjustment room. On the canals near me I have about 12 to 15 inches between weight and hook to fish through the weed. But it was silty in Norfolk and was fishing about 6 to 12 inches deep. The fish were digging for the worms I think as they had silt in their mouths.
Nice job
