    Now that’s a rig! Sounds well, looks well and turns on a ten pence! Bet you’d be happy to sit on that more often😁

    Geoff great video I’ve just subscribed and I’m slowly going through all your videos when I’ve got a bit of down time at work!! what is the reason for going across the field leaving a big gap between runs with the cultivator before you cover the whole field on a different angle?

    Great tractor, it’s probably going up in value too. As opposed to loosing thousands per annum.

    Greetings, our farm has a 1999 John Deere 8400 (8.1L) tractor, it has enough power, but it is not known how many horses it has, the 8100-8200 versions have up to 200 horses, and the 8300 - 8400 220-260?
    I don't know what the developers were guided by, the engines are the same, but the engine power is different, even two 8400s can differ in power, but it works without problems with the Lemken Vari diamond plow 7+1, works 10 with 2000 revolutions per engine, plows 25-30 cm. 8410 is a rare model here, maybe our 8400 has the same settings as the 8410 version??

      It's a beauty. Weve got a pair of them both a excellent condition. They dont look over 20 years old and can still hold their own

    It's great to see owners and workers look after their tractors Geoff! Ask the time parts are available I would think it makes sense to keep these old girls going except for the cost of fuel perhaps? What year is she? Sounds how a tractor should sound. I was surprised at the turning circle before you said.
    Is 270 standard of has it been tweaked up a bit?

    • @GEOFFKV6080
      @GEOFFKV6080  Před 2 lety

      All the tractors and machinery are kept in good clean condition. Both the 8410 are y reg I believe that to be about the year 2000. 270 hp is what they are standard

      Cheers Geoff. They're not messed about with at all which is nice. Does the farm have them looked after by the dealer, or is their a mechanic on farm that can tackle all or most repairs?
