  • Been working on a better, more balanced traditional single-fin longboard aka "log" over the past few years with close friend Wayne Rich. The CI Log will be available soon. In this session from a few weeks ago, we were fine-tuning some of the final design details, including the custom single-fin we made for it. Standby for more info shortly. This was filmed by Mini Blanchard.

Has great flow and speed. Assume it is a single fin?

    Devon, how tall are you?
I just ordered one today through revolution. I ordered custom asking for slightly narrower and thinner @ 9’11 x 23 x 3
I am 6’4” 200lbs and a proficient but not definitely not professional logger. How did I do with that order in your opinion? (I have about a week to change as of writing if you think I blew it lol!)
You’re surfing my local point break here, looks fantastic.

Hey Drew, 6'1 185 lbs. I ride 9'9. 23 1/8 wide. I would suggest you ad some width so doesn't get too straight in outline. Like 23 1/8.... Thickness I would ask for 3 1/16" cut that you want 3" rails. Hope that helps, even though didn't ask. ha. Thanks for interest.

is it more suited to smaller gutless waves or does it need some size and power like the ci mid ?

It's for knee hight to head high. it's a log after all , made for small surf, but can hold when get's a bit of juice.

Nice! Looks nice and loose, but stable. What will the stock glassing be?

double 6 deck, single 6 bottom. not too heavy not too light. Blue blank. weight average is 18.5 lbs and on up to 19 in the bigger ones.

@@cisurfboards Are customs going to be on the table? Specifically one glassed heavier or a green weight blank? Saw one in person at my local shop, beautiful outline but a little light for bigger guys.

@@nozerider yes can be custom. You could consider 8 6 deck and 8 bottom or go with Green and keep double 6 deck and single 6 bottom. If go custom you can also do any color you like. Or if clear it has a nice cedar T Band stringer. Thanks for your interest!
