- This time, we asked to take pictures at the dining room of WAKOEN, located in the Hotel New Gaia Ohmuta Garden in Omuta City. We were specially allowed to visit the kitchen.
Wafen Shisei offers a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine. It is a popular restaurant often used by locals for family and event gatherings, and was crowded with many customers on this day.
Since there are many dishes to be served, preparation begins the night before. Each dish was carefully prepared and each ingredient was handled with care.
The most popular dish was the crispy yakisoba. The fragrant aroma and the noodles intertwined with the ingredients made for an impressive dish. And the mabo doufu, heated piping hot in a stone pot, was so delicious with its richness and pepperiness that I could have eaten it forever.
I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and the food, which was a little different from usual.
