anyone remember Tender Lover like I do? Babyface has taken a few detours over the years but in this song I can hear all of the core elements of beauty, melody and songwriting that had me completely addicted to Tender Lover and had me playing it over and over and over and over in my dorm room and everywhere I went. As a matter of fact certain melodic phrases in this song remind me of "My Kind of Girl". Add to that some time spent with Eric Clapton. The end result is a mature and "back to basics" Babyface. This album is going to be an instant classic, December 4th cant get her fast enough.
