Aah but I still don’t get it. The way the truck was perfectly parked on the rail line, it’s very suspicious. I mean who in his right sense will park on a rail line? Don't mind him, they think that a train's break is like that of a taxi. This is a high speed metro... Only one coach was being tested, when it is finally implemented, it will have many coaches and speed will be mega. They should keep doing their own thing on the rails and they will see what will happen to them...hm!

The 6 months jail time isn't the end of the truck driver predicament but the beginning. This is the criminal phase. The AG Godfred Yeboah Dame can file a civil suit to demand damages for the repair cost. So, stay tuned!

The accident wasn’t intentional from both sides. There’s a bridge underneath the railway which is very narrow and cannot accommodate such trucks. Also while passing with the blocks, the car had to scratch the top of the bridge and coming back without the loads, the height of the car increased a bit which even made it difficult for it to pass through hence his decision to cross through the rails. There’s no alternative to pass

Very fair sentence, this was due to negligence but had the railway folks also did their due dilligence checks before the test, they would’ve known that there was something on the tracks.

It is the drivers fault but it is also the authorities responsibility to make sure people are well informed and safe from such infrastructural accidents.
This was a tragedy which could have been worse due to negligence from both sides.
