Litterly what my dad did lol and it was so fun there was many unique and beautiful designs on the cars and many I haven't seen before
I did it for five years.its everything you can't do on the roads and so much fun .I recommend to try it if you get the chance. Just cage up well and you will just be stiff for a couple of days. KEEP On RACING.👍👍🇬🇧

You guy's have really big balls! I am a dirt track racer out of America and I for sure would not take those hits without a roll cage and all the protective equipment that comes along with it. You'll are just crazy about crashing I guess.

@@billhicks7009, races first that makes 15 or 20 lapps is winner. but after the last race its demo darby. And that is the last man driving. But most want just to smash up there car. there not mutch rules. Don't hit the drivers door. And red flag stop racing. and stay in your car until a red flag, you can ask the stuards for a red flag.

Normally, I'd agree, but that entire video was mad as hell! Those intro clips were not the highlights in this case. All of the slow-motion clips were clips i wanted to see again for more detail

A) It's obviously our demolition derby in a circle, B) speeds are much faster, and C) you don't see major damage in the actual driver's space, indicating some serious protection. Helluva marketing scene; I'd LOVE to see it live!

@@kennyscott1089 Yeah, they're crazy!! I'm up on the sunshine coast (QLD) and it ain't much better here trust me! We recently tried to host an international "TT" style motorcycle race in the hinterland. It was shut down before it even got started, locals crying about reduced access, the possibility it would attract "undesirables" also, believe it or not local shop owners rallied against it, somehow thinking they would lose money with thousands of racers, teams, officials, race fans etc flooding into the area. So it never even got past local council. :(

Well I guess even the worst drivers in the world need a place to race.
Can you imagine getting your leg pinned in one of these crushed beer cans they call cars and cars just keep hitting you until your leg is severed off and look out now your arm is pinned and here comes two more Volvo's to take it off too.
Luckily this is very rare. In the 6 years that im going to these races this never happened.

@@AutorodeoNederland 3 litres so tuneable as well. I know how much welding and work goes into putting a car to the track.Not cheap .I always admire that and the showdown!!!! I sold a 740 estate to a bangerracer.He said a ford V6 went in easily it was the welding etc that took alot of the time up.Its that 45 degree hard push up the corner wall that seemed to snap them! Happy days.
@@lenpowell6647 yeah most of them put ford engines in them. Galaxy engines do well. Its getting more expensive as the drivers want to go faster and faster.

In my youth in Australia this was known as a " Demolition Derby" but the Government has effectively put a stop to them with Rules and Regulations especially with regard to impossible insurance policies! The nearest thing we have in South Australia is Dirt Circuit Racing. Deliberate crashes are banned, but it can be quite entertaining. The tracks are short twisting ones with quite a bit of runoff; the speeds are higher, the cars have full roll cages, but there is still plenty of car on car action!
The insurance is a tough one here as well. At some other events, that have nothing to do with this, things happened that are causing problems for us now.
Fun police strike again ! I saw my first demo derby at speedway park in 1982 , it was very tame back then . Your guys are crazy fools and excellent at what they do 👌 👍
