@@Issam-od4pg The problem is that the current system creates a bottleneck. I got the game on sale excited to drive the RX-7 online, and I'm stuck on 2/30 B class playlist races on a Mazda as the unlock requirement. I'm 15 hours in, ironically on 2 million with nothing to spend it on.
Didnt they let us do that in a previoaus volume but then they removed it to where we couldnt do them solo?
They gotta add more races in general imo, especially in the city. Also please they gotta add some off road races because there’s so many off road paths that would be amazing for racing.

I never understood why there’s so few races, i remember the solo campaign got so boring and repetitive on week 3 and 4 because all u do is repeat the same races with basically no purpose. U just rinse and repeat until the grand which is also the same repetitive races

I definitely think they should increase the number of players per session, maybe double it to 32? They could keep linkups to 16 players so there would be enough other players for races
That wouldn’t work. The servers start getting wonky if there’s a lot of people in one area in one chase for an extended period of time. So imagine how it would be with twice the amount of people and cops 💀
32 players is a bit much especially for a small map

I feel like the best solution is to just make separate matchmaking for races and playlist,like you go to a meetup and hit matchmaking for a playlist then you get matched up with other people that did the same as you and you won't rely on the people that are in your session because you can't expect them to do the things you want them to wich I think it was a dumb decision in the first place to make the game how it is rn,I think separate servers/matchmaking for playlist would just be better and as soon as the playlist is done you get returned on your session,so basically sessions should be just for freeroam,activities and link-ups and playlists should be their own separate thing

Which is quite a tricky problem with a tricky solution. ( Probably repeated what you said cause haven't watched the full vid, wanna save it for my next meal 😂 ).
Thank you for touching on this, the comp community has alot more issues, for example did you know there is an issue with the auxiliaries where whenever you change to a different car it disables the previous cars auxiliaries and you have to re set your auxes

@@TheRealdraudE This might be a weird thing to say for you, no offence but as of today I had more than 4 people join playlists that I joined as much, if not even more times than I played with players in Linkups, so it's a weird thing and it might be just my luck but I think I've overall raced more than did Linkups lol.

The reason unbound update 3 had problems is the fact that there was still no speed cap removed, no VENOM gt, no Koenigsegg agera R, and no Bugatti Veyron super sport.
They should keep the speed cap on otherwise the game will suffer from limitations. Even worse in multiplayer.

I mean the Bugatti already reaches 264 and that's pretty good on its own. They would have to make a new class if they were to add any more powerful cars.
That or the car classes would have to be reworked, which would screw up many people's cars.

Not being able to race and unlock stuff is a huge issue. You can’t play the game unless other people want to? Add ai or let you do the playlist solo if nobody joins it’s that simple.

i think the normal online rn should stay as the default but on the find game screen they should add a find playlist option and it matchmakes with random peopşe and throws you into a playlist then you can go back to the menu and find a new game. also should be so you can filter it to playlists and car classes IF you want but it will make the matchmaking wait longer. thats my opinion.
Maybe the most ideal thing they should do is combine all speedlists into one whole 24/7 running list with shuffled order like Theo said. But also drop the tournament styled scoring system with single race score so people could drop in and out. That would also fix the ragequit issue..
One of the many things that keep me away from this game is the fact that you cannot transfer your cars from single player, to multiplayer.
Cops in speedlist was a really dope suggestion. Also MORE DRIFTS Events. Last but not least allow us to see each others cars in the meetups and allow us the ability stay in meetups like we would a car meet

the main issue is balancing and having a meta. Makes most people's favorite cars pointless. Thats why I loved MW2012 so much, they did Playlist by types of car not speed rating.

i think the biggest problem with speedlists rn is that its purely server based
so many times ill be in a lobby where no one wants to do speedlists, but theres probably a good amount of people who want to do them, just not in that specific server
it should be its own thing mos def, just maybe not fully isolated from the free roam
This is why matchmaking should be server-wide, and not just within that specific lobby we're in.
Linkups, while a fantastic addition to the game, kinda makes the Speedlists obsolete. In the span of the update release to now, only on a couple of occasions I’ve seen people actually fill up the queue for a Speedlist. It’s always 5 players at the most and even then, some just straight up leave mid-Speedlist. I would be lucky to even get one person to join.
I think a rework of the class system should be in the next nfs game. In 2012 the classes were mostly balanced except Hyper because of the car that shall not be named. The classes should be Sports, Luxury, Everyday, Trucks & Suvs, Hyper, Tuners, and Muscle. Then have Retro versions for each type, that would be the best way to balance cars and the best way all cars can be used.
And they need a bigger car list having 3-4 of basically the same lambo isn’t the way, just have the hurcan and aventador and have them be able to swap out parts to make the aventador into the SVJ so we got space for more cars
@@ImJaspyI KNOWWW there’s so many Porsche GTS’ lol. Like there only needs to be the RSR, Carrera(retro), the regular 911, and maybe a GTS that could be swapped to look like the other, and of course the Panararra Turbo.
@@tinktink360 exactly this isn’t Forza we don’t have 400+ cars we got like just over 100 and about 15-20 of them are basically dupes and they need to add like 2-3 free cars per season 1 car is nothing and then all the cars you gotta pay for are already in the game that should’ve been battlepass rewards the battlepass is mid and I could careless about all the emote at the end of the battlepass that’s dumb you get the viper skin and then there’s no reason to play

I actually liked triggger`s proposal - increase time between linkups so that after escaping cops you could do full playlist and still get to start of round 1 of next linkup
I believe that the issue with races (pvp) is that the hypercars that are obviously above s+ need their own class much like how forza has the X class like if i want to have a maxed out i8 how is that even comparable to a ragera or la Ferrari.
I think they should do something similar to NFS 2015 in terms of how free mode events and Speedlist works except I want to have specific class races like they currently do.
I also like what they did in the vol. 3 update but we need more and we need variety

They need to split playlists into their own lobby. Allow people to still start races from the open world (because why not, no need to remove it) but allow for joining worldwide/non server-locked playlists from that garage screen before you choose "Find Game".
Give us two options that are "Drop Into Lakeshore" and "Join Racing Playlists". Throw in a third ranked mode too. That would guarantee full 8/8 races every time. No idea how they didn't do that from the start. It's not even a new idea. It was like that in Payback. Also allow for drop-ins mid-playlist, or replace missing spots with AI.
Keep the open world for casual chill sessions. Fork playlists off the open world for racing-only sessions. Everyone wins.
My opinion is that after playing unbound for a few weeks is that the online needs a bit of work due to the fact I can never get anyone to do speedlists because everyone is busy with linkups so I can't unlock the cars from the challenges and they need to make online more fun by adding more activities or a second mini story update and maybe bring old cars back from prevouis titles as a reward that can be used in offline aswell. They could also introduce a new online speedlist to do with cops where you have to survive different heat levels for a specific amount of time and then escape and seeing as there are offroad vechiles with no use bring offroad racing and offroad gymkhana.
finally someone touched on this. NFS payback had it perfect. free roam. speed lists. ranked speedlists. except the lobby size was small and the events felt bland.
now, nobody wants to race, only linkups. and guaranteed everyone in the lobby doesn’t have every car unlocked, or at least every wanted car unlocked.
B, A & S races hardly anyone joins up on but if it’s S+ Day & Night or A+ Send it every time at least 4 people join. then half the lobby leaves the playlist
Yeah, the problem is that I just started playing it and in 20 hours I never had a race with more than 4 people. Most of the time 2 more.

What I loved in Heat and 2015 is the story and online was the same experience. You can play with your homies and do story/progression races and events. Huge miss for this game.
ADD MORE SPEEDLISTS! New tracks! I think part of the reason is that everyone is getting bored of the speedlists because there’s not any new tracks. It’s the same courses over and over. We need brand new tracks, and not just like 3 or 4, give us like, 15. We need more tracks in the city as well. There’s a lot that can be done here. I’m not sure how hard that is to make a bunch of brand new tracks, but I imagine it isn’t too difficult. And more drift playlists. You’re off to a good start, just make some more, okay? And keep the old tracks too. Mix them in with the new ones. And Off-Road speedlists would be fun too, because we currently don’t have anything for off road. (And can we please add more pickup trucks? I’m probably not the only one who’s sick of having only the Raptor, Colorado, and C10).
All I want is for them to make it to where we can start playlists on our own. Maybe then I'd actually care enough to grind for the cars I want, because as of now, I'm too busy having to rely on the extremely slim chance that someone else wants to play the same event 30 times with me just to obtain ONE car, let alone 100+.

Simplest approach would be to enable online races with AI when lack of real players.
Another is Increase money stakes for races, more variety (basen on car type - off road, classics, luxury) to utilize more cars.
Add some more statistics visible (# of wins) daily ranks etc
Speedlists need to support matchmaking, plain and simple. There are probably less people who want to play speedlists than want to play linkups, but there's still probably enough people who want to race competitively that they could fill those sessions, if they were matched together.
This game really needs server-wide matchmaking, and not just matching you with people in that specific lobby you're in. I guarantee if they do this, we'll get our speedlists full within seconds.

Good idea, they need to add shorter race. 3 race or endurance are very long and boring, something like 10-15min each, so when you what unlock a 35 playlists car, it so molly holly long.
I don't understand why the frequent linkups is the problem, I once had the downtime after the linkup end and made a playlist but still no one was joining my game. It's either people who wants to escape the police after linkup, or just literally no one. Just make a better matchmaking for races and that should fix the problem.
that still mitigates the amount of people wanting to race because some wait in the garage for the next linkup anyways for the money grind. so making it have more money means more worth the wait

They should’ve made it where if u unlock the cars in story, they’re also unlocked in Multiplayer, bc I don’t wanna do these missions buying random cars that I’ll never use and I’ll never win in just to buy the car I wanted
Just threat the session as a lobby for the speedlists. Starting a speedlist checks for similar playlists waiting for players on other sessions. Basically making the speedlists their own session which can be joined from the free roam session.
Add more time in between linkups so players will have a choice of sitting for 10+mins or doing race playlists. Another suggestion is to make the servers larger and cap the linkups to 16.

We 100% need lobbies in this game. In heat and payback you could join specific lobbies with specific names. For example a lobby would say drift only. And everyone who joins understands that people only wana drift. This way even if it's still 16 players. It's atleast 16 players that are doing the same thing.
Heat didn't have Speedlists, NFS 2015 had Speedlists but mainly just racing and maybe drag racing iirc and Payback had Speedlists of everything you just said. Heat didn't have this feature.

I wish the speed pass actually had body kits, better rims, legends custom cars etc, then it definitely would be worth it. Also more tracks in each class, increase pay outs to encourage more racing and add drag racing with good mechanics like Underground 2. Balance tweeks are always welcome too
I feel like the best thing for them to do is to increase the insensitive to play playlist like the more people that join a playlist the cost of first place goes up and if it gets to a full 8 players 1st place gets 100k and also to make the playlist customizable like no collision within racers or able to take out the other npc cars in the way but I feel like the Maine thing is to give there a better reason to play races im general and DEFINITELY don’t take them from online mode.
Theres already a multiplier for how many people finish a playlist but people still leave. Even though they could still get a lot of money they leave because they cant handle losing
They need to mix the speed list and other modes together kinda how need for speed most wanted 2012 made it so players need to drive to the location and u get got some points for getting there quickly. I always love driving to the start location of a race and having other players come from a different part of the map and we have a small mini race to the start location
Only time I get races is in between linkups, give it a few minutes since everyone is running from copsto garage then start one, sometimes get around 4 or 5 people if it's an active server

Custom playlists might help cuz people may have feel bored with the playlists already
More drift playlists and increased payout for them might help cuz they legit are the most fun
Better matchmaking would help so that people who want to race and those who want to only do linkup are separated and everyone is happy
And please don't contemplate the idea of cops in playlists it'll turn people away rather than making them comeback. The original base that has kept the game from dying (mostly competitive people that play to get better times) will be severely affected. They ram people head on, spin people out when cornering, grind people to a halt

They need to make a new race type or mode for online race lists like cops vs racers or somekind of robber's and cops mode etc to make people join in
They need to add black market parts and you can only get them from the heat Playlists. Black Market parts are more dangerous versions of the top parts. They can have drastically different performance values but make the car unstable depending on what type of part they are.
I have a f40 , but it’s like the game doesn’t know I have it, cuz nothing of the challenges are progressing with it… also I painted it green. But it always shows up black
If Heat lets you race against cpu opponents online, how hard is it for them to add them to unbound? We already got them in single player anyway….sucks when you wanna race but the whole server can’t join

They should do both tbh. They should have it so you can still speedlight in your freeroam session but also speedlist like how payback had it where there was a dedicated section for it. Better yet, they should have it so that when you start a playlist from a freeroam session, you choose if you want the invite to go to friends, party, lobby, or anyone from any lobby
Did you know that when vol 3 came out you can race the first 2 races of the speed list in any car then on the last race you can use the car needed to unlock any car that needs to be unlocked by doing a playlist 💯

Haven't had an issue with the speed lists. After a link up, can get 8 players easily. Escapes the cops and you're back in time for a link-up

IMO they should make the cooldown longer for link up activity. So people can participate more in the speed lists.

Im having problems running nfs, for some reason my pc reboots randomly while playing, literally the only game that does that to my pc, I haven't touched any settings on my pc for like 3 or 4 years and played everything from vr games to cyberpunk on almost max, does anyone have any idea why that happens
That's because the NFS you play is the main culprit, not your PC. If it's NFS Unbound and you own an Nvidia GPU, turn off DLSS and use instead FSR or Xesss.
In fact, recent NFS games which uses the Frostbite 3 engine have optimization and rendering issues.

2. increase server max players and less separate servers
3. everyone who is in online freeroam needs to join speedlist automatically in 1-2mins
4. add a top ranking system so we have something to play for

If they have it to where they throw out a set of races that will give you some sort of extra xp to the speed pass, make the speed pass 100 tiers maybe even 120 so we won’t burn through 75 levels
I think it would be good to increase the number of players in session, and if there is a race playlist when in this video not the full player is in race playlist they will be fulled with bots from storymode
I don't know if they can do this but to add larger lobbies like lobbies of 32 and limit the linkups to only 16 players per linkup so that if you don't make the linkup you can instead do the PvP races

They gotta fix the game. So many people can’t even get in the game cuz they’re stuck on a irreversible bug that whose only solution is delete all your saved data and start from scratch. This includes all your cars online and your story mode.
They need global PvP matchmaking. Not just limited to your session. So many sessions ive been in where i cant get what im trying to get. Another issue is how the playlist multiplier goes down for rewards if people leave mid playlist. Why should the other people that stay get punished lime that because others are sore losers? I'll get in a playlist with 5 other people then 3 leave before the playlist ends. I wouldve had say a x2 multiplier for the end reward but since 3 left midway through, the multiplier goes down to like x1.2. Fthe multiplier should stay the same for however many peoople there are when the playlist starts
They could possibly increase/double the lobby size, limit link ups to 16 and balance the amount of money they give out (especially when you join just a minute or less before it ends, like in the case presented in this video, 50k for one minute is absurd), place more time between linkups (20-30 minutes sounds good, gives time for perhaps 3 playlists) and create more on and off road races for variety sake. Oh and hopefully somebody at criterion can bring back AI rivals in freeroam for singleplayer and multiplayer to give more life to Lakeshore, and in-races for multiplayer. That would be part of my ideal vol4

For me I intentionally not joining playlists if it it's 2/8 but joins when it's 10 seconds left if it's 1/8 instead because I want others to grind "Finished 1st or 2nd X playlists" faster and easier. That's why I join regularly at least if it's 3/8.
I've seen some requested to bump up the max lobbies to 30/40 or somethin' which is a really good idea and I do agree we should have a seperate ranked speedlists as well to sweat with but for me I would like to add that we need a matchmaking option to allow searching more players from different session who requested the same playlist and invite only sessions or bump the max 4 party to 8 like Heat again so friends can help you grind and fill in playlists much easier. Anyway, I hope Criterion fix this issue in Volume 4, they better not drop the ball on such simple request or I'd be pretty irritated forreal
I just don't understand why co-op activities, exploration activities, and racing all matchmake out of the same 16 person pool.
heat races was the best thing when it came to cops they should something similar to that tbh.. also easy fix would be u do the event then u have to do a playlist to be able to another one or to earn max money in the next one
Best way to play is start a speed list after a link up. I get 2-6 players each time. You’re right though they’re dead. So few events!

They should increase the server cap and add a longer gap between linkups. You have some players server hopping to negate the Link up downtime as well lol.
I’ve been addicted to this game again man I’m having a lot of fun just doing speed list and doing all the collectibles the BMW you get buy finding all the bears I think is the fastest car in S class and A+
It’s the only reason I’ve played played recently, I need to do playlists and have just been playing the linkups plus pretty much every invite I got was 1-3 people max they need to make in between like a linkup but server wide races with big payouts
I lost my whole game data and after some days, same happened to my friend as well. He had 100 hours of playtime and mine was 32. They are randomly doing this it seems. Make a video on it.

to mitigate the issue of having a lack of players to race with due to linkups causing everyone to flock to them. Allowing players to race alone with Ai would solve that issue straightaway. or making lobby's double their size to 32.
Adding a server list would help. You know, where you can sort by speedlist and linkup lobbies.
they could have dedicated servers just for playlists, and when players matchmake they can choose btwn preferring linkups or playlists

The problem is definitely there's no one in playlest I'm lucky if I get a race with more then 2 people even more lucky if one of them doesn't quit out half way through so money drops just to boot and it's boring... witch is a massive shame because I love this game
They should put all the types of races, drift, endurance, corners, etc.. in their own areas and ALL tiers! I hate having to look for where each race is
A good update for need for speed unbound is get rid of the strobe lights aka flashing lights aka strobe lights aka setting for turn on and off strobe lights.
cop chases after a certain speed limit in free roam would be sick. Car meets would be nice to, The vehicles in the game are very eye catching and clean. would love to be able to meet up with friends and just park and boast about your cars. would love to be able to disable the animations for the car itself, I like the idea of anime type characters as your driver. Such a clean looking game and plays very well, Would just love to switch off the animations for tyre smoke etc. The free roam side of the game is very fun but very limited with regards to activities. How about some floating coins hidden on the map randomly each game where you could get parts for certain classes or even just a cheeky 20k for just finding the coin. Having ranted all of the above, We notice the changes the devs make and they are actually good changes which means the devs are actually listening. I feel like Unbound is a very good game that brings back some nostalgic feelings. Some tweaks here and there and this is a banger. Also make it more difficult to unlock the best cars in the game. I kinda did that first and now i'm left with old cars that are no longer something to look forward to or grind for. (With so much to say, You can clearly see that this title is relevant and well liked)
The fact you need to finish 30 races in 1 brand in 1 specific playlist to unlock a car in the shop is the worst thing ever.. and there are 200+, and why doesn't it save your and others personal record of races..
Some lobbies have dirty players and i had few races where other dudes keep crashing into me so that i wont pass them. You were lucky to have a good lobby.

It's just 2 weeks since the update and the online are almost already dead. It now hard getting more that 5-6 player in the linkups and more hard to finish all 4 level.
Can't believe Ferrari gets mad when it's customers customize their Ferrari's but has the audacity to put an entire FXXK EVO and laferrari in two need for speed games, 60% of their models in every Forza that gets released and basically everything in Grand Tourismo. Like WTF man!! At least encourage me to work harder at making 💸 by allowing me to customize as much as I want(as long as it ain't a colossal bowl rice).I could say more but...meh, what's the point it's not like I'm making a huge difference in life
Imo they could add a lotta things... Sadly EA just doesn't see the opportunities.
In my case, I have a few ideas which I could imagine in game.
Like custom player races (self explanatory, personalized races made by players, but of course there would be a limit of 15000yd to not make it too long)
Or another concept of mine, "High Speed Live", one huge chase, involving new types of cops (maybe a return of the NFS Heat Rhyno or NFS Rivals cops with their supercars and tech) with the use of the old Heat cop AI.
So, the concept consists of something like a race, but it's a live event, similar to linkups.
The event also welcomes a new Heat system, which will be 5+ all the way to 10. In these heat levels, new cops will appear, ruthless officers with no hesitation to slam you against a wall. These cops will truly give you fear and are very hard to tail off.
Now, of course you may ask "what's the point?", Well in these High Speed Live events, there's a leader, which leads the chase. All you have to do is stay 1st as long as possible. You don't have to end 1st, but stay as long as you can. When in 1st place, the cops will target you, along with a new, News helicopter which will stream your chase from the sky, a stream you can see on the top right corner of the screen. While in the event, you gain a bonus in everything basically, a multiplier, inspired by NFS Heat's system. In Heat 5+, you'll have a X1.5, in H6, x2, in H7, x3, and so on.
Even when you escape in these heat levels, you'll maintain a wanted level, similar to campaign, in which you have to sneak behind cops and such. The wanted level will stay, depending on how high it is. If it's 5+, you'll be wanted for 15 in-game minutes, and going all the way to Heat 10, which will be 3 in-game hours.
Of course, there's a lot more risk now, as joining playlists or linkups won't just multiply your money for you, but you'll keep being wanted all around the map. Also, if you escape a Heat 10, apart from the huge 3hr multiplier, you'll get Cross' Z06, with working sirens as a horn and toggable lights!
From my experience, the FXX is definitely a Regera competitor.
Maybe in Vol 4 they should add more races in story mode with bigger payout, more customization and more cars would be added for sure. Even though more garage upgrade like customization price reduction.
Graphic mode settings like Fidelity, Performance, and Performance RT then more clothing brand as well so.
More controller settings slider and possibly dashboard view on Vol 5, along aside RGB HUD custom even more cars added from past and present
My guess if they add story dlc maybe 5 or 6 vol

6:48 you unlocked 2 of the same wheels for the front wheels and the rear wheels, the other 2 are the same but deep dish
They couldve simply increase the time it takes for a linkup to spawn. So that at least gives time for people to be able to join speedlists for a while. Or at least have some sort of a global timer that says next Linkup expected in 15 Minutes lets say.
All they have to do is increase the player count imo, ppl will race but the moment playlist stop filling up ppl leave and look for pppl who will actually join, thus just killing the lobby engagement wise.
