This is phenomenal! Such a beautiful end result. It's so refreshing to see the process from start to finish and a great reminder to trust the process and your vision. I wonder if this effect could be achieved with latex paint. This video has inspired me to play around with this technique and see if I can achieve something similar with the paints I have around the house.

Anyone know what kind of paper or covering I can apply to a wall over the sheetrock & paint on? I want to abstract my walls but my landlord wont let me paint the walls. I can paint something over it that can come off but dont know what to cover it with? Would be nice to have big sheets that only have a few lines in the wall. If I use small sheets it seems like it may show the lines but I dont know for sure. I just want to know what I can use so I dont waste money.
You could use a primed canvas roll, from an art shop that you pin with thumb tack, easy enough to paint other the small holes when you leave. In the uk it comes in about 2m tall

Do you seal it? I ask because I wash my walls often.
i don't but if you're looking to wash them, you can paint 50/50 water pva glue, 2 coats. It'll be shinny though.
