Magic Ruler has always been my favorite set, and it is still awesome after 25 years.

Magic Ruler was released in the U.S. at the end of 2002. The 25th anniversary is commemorating the initial release of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG in Japan

I have a Delinquent Duo from the Original Pack YEARS ago. It's not in the worst shape but def has been used many times in duels and has saved my ass! 🥰
Relinquished always was one of the coolest looking early game boss monsters. I did think it was strange that it was Yugi on the cover instead of Pegasus because Relinquished/Restrict are so closely tied to him.
Yugi was just on the packs until the second GX set wasn't he? Nowadays only duelists on packs are on the duelist packs.
@AhiruGaOdoreru Yup, but most of the cover cards were also used by Yugi to some extent. In the manga, Yugi used his Grandpa's Blue Eyes until Kaiba destroyed it. Black Skull Dragon was a combination between Yugi and Joey. Yugi played Exodia from Dark Crisis. DMOC was again, one of Yugi's cards.
Relinquished and Restrict were never used by Yugi himself. Only against him.

what i love about these old sets is that they are easy to play with for begginers every time someone wants me to teach them i use these cards

I opened my Magic Ruler box while watching this video and also pulled Blue Eyes Toon Dragon Secret Rare at the SAME TIME as ruxin did in the video. I swear have the best of luck if I watch his videos, this is the secret!!! 🤫

My favourite set of all time!! Seeing the toon cards from the show was the coolest thing ever as a kid. The first set I ever opened too!
I’ve ripped like 30 mini boxes of this and LOB has been the most brutal by far and Spell Ruler has been the most giving for me….
I love magic ruler, maily because of the ritual cards, always thought they were cool as a kid. Relinquish along with toon cards made me feel like i was as powerful as Pegasus

Spell Ruler just sticks in your memory as a big green pack, definitely have a ton of nostalgia for this set in particular.
Blue eyes toon is always a cool card. Lot of nostalgia from the show from me. Still pulling for the LOB though when it’s finally time!
Blue Eyes Toon Dragon came in clutch for me when I was opening a few 25th anniversary legendary collection boxes around when they came out. Awesome to see a few get pulled in this opening.

Crazy pulls, I picked Spell Ruler to be the best pack during the Dark Crisis video, but after Pharaoh's Servant I figured Spell Ruler didn't have a chance, but wow those pulls were insane.

Crazy pulls again!!! Toon blue eyes is one of the only cards I have left from my childhood collection so it's awesome to see that again 😄 hopefully the next two boxes are even crazier 🎉

Magic Ruler was always a favorite set, could never pull a Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon but was able to get Toon Summoned Skull and Delinquent Duo and Serpent Night Dragon, wish Serpent Night had gotten its own support like Gate Guardian has. LOB has the potential to be the best set just because of Blue Eyes White Dragon being pulled.
Never would have thought SRL would overtake, but I do love an underdog story 😂

Yesterday at my locals i opened one spell ruler for smol goat format tournament and pulled Delinquent Duo and i was so happy, from time when i entered there i knew i would pull it 😁 great card.

7 minutes and 30 seconds in you pulled a guardian of the throne room. It has green missile tips when originally they were red. It looked off to me when you pulled it haha

Funny enough the first spell rule pack I got when coming back to the game had a blue eyes toon dragon. Had no clue how much it was worth until later. And it came from the Walmart scam boxes... my own personal little miracle.

Spell Ruler is my favorite classic set. Relinquished and Toon Summoned Skull sell it for me. They're my 2 all time favorite Yugioh cards.
