Hey I have a question, if I'm planning on adding a zipper to the dress ( I'm aiming for something fitted)do I add the extra inches that you did or go with my original measurements+ seam allowance?
Hi! You should be good with just the seam allowance! I personally like sewing with a 3/8 inch seam allowance and I don't add anything extra when adding zippers! 😊 I would do a 1/2 inch seam allowance just so you have a little bit more to work with!
