I don’t know if you’ll appreciate this story or not but I feel like I have to tell someone because I’m still in disbelief. The other day I called my sister and when she answered the phone I said “what are you doing” and she said “oh nothing” so I preceded to tell her about some work story and then rant about our other sister for at least ten minutes. She carries on the conversation with me and then finally she’s like “alright I’m gonna get off here because I’m at dinner.” Girl was on a date. Anyways she lives with him now but like, wtf

When it came out me and my friends were the prime age for it and to my friends the show made them want to do drugs like they didnt have interest before but the way they glamorized drug use in this show literally made them try and buy percs and oxy
I feel odd about this show, I watched the whole thing & could not stop watching it from the second I put it on. I watched both seasons in about 2-3 days (I was grounded with only laptop access lol). Honestly, I think it’s a good show, but I wish they would have focused more on Rue’s story, especially in seasons two. It resonated & felt powerful, the acting was wonderful & it didn’t glamorize anything. I thought Cassie’s season two storyline was glamorized, cheap, & predictable. I’m tired of it gaining so much traction with all these girls who don’t have father figures seeking attention in toxic men who only want them for sex. I’m not blaming it on them at all, but this shit needs to be studied.

She struggles with addiction after losing her father and it shows how it can have negative side effects on her family and her friends. I would've liked if the story showed how much addiction can cause and how she came out of it. Also, Zendaya's acting is very captivating
