- This video goes into details about the one thing you don't want to do when doing a Fakie. I also cover a tip that I discovered to make Fakies easier if you're just learning how to Fakie.

Jeez Jens, I'm always telling you to "stay fat", not swollen!!
LOL.
As always, thx for sharing the mishaps as well as the sucesses.
You are an inspiration.
Every time I hop on the WO, I always think of OMFB!!!!
STAY FAT MY FRIEND.
Thank you so much Bob! Your comments put a smile on my face, especially the first one @bobscott2553. 🤣
Old Man Fat Bike can not be stopped. OMFB is the Terminator of fat biking. Keep on rocking you are the man.
Thank you for making me sound unstoppable, John! I'll keeping rocking as long as you promise to do the same @Dempsey222 🍻✌️
Here's wishing ya a speedy recovery Old Man. I'll say a little prayer for you.
THANK YOU, Chuck! I need all the help I can get @chuckmoll1611. 😅👍
Glad you didn't do more serious damage to yourself, Jens. Cracking and breaking ribs is how I learned to sleep in a recliner. I hope the recovery process continues to go well for you.
Thank you, @khwolter9038! Yes, I consider myself very lucky. So for the healing process is going much better than expected!! Thanks for commenting and I do appreciate you!!!
Thanks for sharing this!!!! 😢
That sux, Jens! Glad you're ok. A lesson I learned many moons ago, is that once you get into your 40's, you don't bounce anymore! Broken clavicle and 6 broken ribs after a 30 mph header taught me hat ? Did I learn? Heck no! At 65 I'm still doing stupid stuff (but with a bit more caution!).
Thank you, Karl for commenting on this video! Live and learn is what we all do!! Keep on doing stupid stuff as long as you can because there will be a day when you can no longer do that, on a bike at least. Stay cautious and well @karlintucson 😉😎
Wishing you a speedy recovery brother!
Awe, thank you very much @bikedad7432!! I'm happy to report that I'm now fully recovered, at least I think I am 🙌😊🍻
So glad to see you're ok.
Thank you so much Graham!! I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment! My recovery is going well @grahambullman. 😉✌️
Glad to hear you are not more injured. Heal rapidly and looking forward to next ride!
Awe, thanks a bunch Rico!! My recovery is going well and I'm almost 100% back to normal. Well, Lisa would say that I was never normal. Stay healthy out there @traveladventureswithTinaRico 😎✌️
@@OldManFatBike That's some great news!
Wish you best recovery. Thanks for sharing.
Much appreciated Jose!! Thank you for your comments @josereneducharme142.
Oh, man! I've broken a few ribs myself back in the day and unless things have changed there isn't a lot they can do for it. The doctor didn't even wrap my chest because he said it would just make me more uncomfortable. Take care my friend. ✌
Hey Tony, nothing has changed from when you broke your ribs. They didn't do anything other than tell me all the things I couldn't. I think that was the worst part about this whole injury!! I hope you had a great Easter @BluecollarBackcountry!! 🩵🙌
Ouchi .. Glad your ok Jens
Hey, Scott! Thank you so very much!! I think I'm going to be Okie Dokie @scottsoffroad. 😊✌️🍻
Whoa!
I was thinking the same thing when it happened! Thanks for checking out the video, and I appreciate your comment @rainbowhiker!!
Dang man hopefully your back is nice and strong again be safe bud
The key to Fakie is pedaling backwards til you’re ready to roll out
Thank you for your comments @FatTireVanVentures! I also appreciate your tip on doing a Fakie. My back is feeling much better now and I think I'm not going to have any long term issues!! 🙌😎
Wow Jens! Good to see you recovered, and back riding! Take care.
Thank you, very much Jim! I'm super excited to be back on the Woo!! Hopefully I can remain injury free the rest of 2024. Thanks again @jimsmith1498!!
Joyeuse pâques en familles et amis longue vie longue sortie velo
Merci beaucoup, j'espère que vous avez passé de merveilleuses Pâques !! Restez en sécurité là-bas
@ghislainbedard1042 😉
Long time no speak! Rest up my friend. So sorry to hear you were injured. Martin from Essex, UK. BTW, I still have your stickers on my fat bike.. 🙂
Yes, it has been a while... I'm doing much better now, Martin! Happy to hear those stickers are still doing their job. Thanks for being a fan of what I do @WesleysLot!!
Yowzzer, glad to see you're on the mend.
Them old bones don't heal as fast as they used to do they?. 🤕
Hey there, Jim! As always I appreciate your comments!! You are correct, these old bones don't heal quickly at all. I'm happy to report as of right now I'm not seeing any long term issues from the accident. 🙌😊
Hey Jens
I know that. I also fell on my bike a lot. It's important to get up and keep going. It's terrible that you injured yourself so badly durning this attempt. I hope you don't any physical problems because of it.
Bike on 🤘😎😁
Hey Steve!! As far as I can tell I'm not going to have any physical problems related to this accident. I feel as if I'm fully recovered now. Thank you for your kind comments @stevekorth8476!
You were lucky that nothing worse happened. 👍
😵😵😵😵Yes be carefull all the time. An important a helmet! Get well!
I always do my best to stay safe @fatbikedutch! Sometimes things don't go as planned. A helmet is the #1 thing on my biking safety list!!
You’re very lucky you are still able to walk and ride, did your wife give you hell when you told her?
Yes Jeff, I consider myself very lucky!! Things could have been much worse for me. My wife wasn't thrilled to learn about my injuries. Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate you taking the time to comment on this video @jeffhulett4194 😊✌️
So were you trying to sue the park then because you made a mistake and injured yourself…I mean person responsibility of your try bmx tricks on fatbike without protective equipment whose fault is it…yours clearly
Hi Richard! What makes you think I'm trying to sue anyone for my accident? I'm just curious @richardtodd6559. The purpose of this video is to share my experiences with others.
Holly crap!!!!
I’m glad you put your helmet on prior.
Are you okay now?
That's the same thing I thought when I was rolling around on the concrete, Tim! My helmet has protected me multiple time and I never ride without one!! I'm doing much better now and looking forward to getting out there and making some more fun videos! Stay well @fatride and I'll try to do the same thing 🙌😎
O MAN the worst, the camera wasn't setup yet!!!!!! O well, heal up my friend, lots of riding left in 2024!
I know, right! I really need to start setting up the camera no matter what I'm doing. Sometimes I forget how quickly accidents happen. You just never know when something is going to go south!! Take care and enjoy the ride @FATBIKEskinnylegs!! ✌️😊🍻
