Good sir, may I point out that it is false that the bacterial community outnumbers the human cell 10:1. It is actually closer to 1:1. This has been pointed out by Sender et al. (2016) as published in Cell, titled "Are We Really Vastly Outnumbered? Revisiting the Ratio of Bacterial to Host Cells in Humans."
I'm interested in looking at the literature can you provide references to good clinical studies so I can explore this topic further. It is fascinating!
