Was patiently waiting for this one! We’re so excited to be coming there in the next 2 weeks! We’re doing Phuket, Phi Phi, Ao Nang, Railay and Koh Lanta. Honestly can’t wait😂🙈 I wanted to know how it’s been there with the police and the scooters? I haven’t got a motorbike license, only a car one, however last time we were there we got away with it. I have heard that they have escalated their fines to crazy numbers (some people say like up to 5000 baht) have you had any issues?
Especially wanting to know in Ao Nang as we’re renting a car in Phuket as last time was a bit too chaotic ok the scooter there😂

We haven’t had any problems with scooters and all, I also got an international drivers license just incase but never needed to show it when renting or haven’t been pulled up…
I don’t have a motorbike license in general just my car license in NZ, and also the international drivers license which hopefully is enough in Thailand….
Luckily no issues but I heard the other day in Bangla road in Phuket they were doing checks, but most people with international license were cleared so maybe get one just incase
