What app are you using?
Memerise, lingodeer and doulingo
Me too
Every now and then you blow my mind! I have been studying French for a couple years and when I asked my instructor how can I know when to use ‘ce” and when to use “cet” I was told that is was just one of those things in French that you must memorize like a word being feminine or masculine😳 she never said a word about a vowel or h 🙄 I have just lost all faith in my teacher😏 You are amazing!
Amazing Alexa 👏. Keep it 💯👌up.
ALEXA, juste presque une mois que j'apprends le français avec toi, je me sens a laisse déja. Merci beaucoup. Ton explication son clair.
You're doing very great Alexa, your French classes are very explicit and comprehensive.
I decided to learn french two weeks ago for the musical of "Le Rouge et le noir" without any kind of deep knowledge about the language, and now I can understand almost everything you are saying in the exercises and fighting with my computer to answer before of you hahaha.
It means a lot to me. Thank you ❤️
How's your French now. Just curious

I have just started to learn French in Australia. I love Alexa's tutorials. Hoping I can talk to my French friend (fairly sensibly!) in Australia by the end of this year. Thank you Alexa!
"Ça" is often used to denote "that" as well. Can anyone explain why and when to use that?
Ça is the same that "it", i think
@@RenardDeMarbre Yes, I also think so. I think "ce/cet", "cette" and "ces" are demonstrative pronouns. So they always have to come with a subject. However "ça" is the subject itself.
Just discovered your lessons. They are excellent. Thank you. 👍🏻
When I was a beginner in French, I thought it was totally boring. However, Alexa made me realise every new language can be interesting Thankss Alexa😊

This is so helpful! Thank you...erm...merci! What about using ‘ca’? When is that appropriate?
Its not a démonstratif adfectives . Ça is in "Ça va ?" for "How are you" and when you talk about a thing, like "it".
Thank you Alexa you are doing a great job
You are the best! When I will start commenting in french this means I have learnt 😊👍🏼
This is super helpful. Merci 🙏🏻

What about Cela and Ceci? I have searched everywhere in your lovely videos but I found nothing. Thanks
very helpful!! thanks alexa !
Thank You so so much for your vidios. They help me a lot!!
You are so smart! Merci beaucoup ma chère
I love this example used for this / that, the part that works for me best are the examples.
If I could just be a little picky here and alter anything it would be the use of referring the "H" as "it starts and ........
Instead of stating that, why not state that if a word starts with a H or a VOWEL (keep reinforcing this rule), irrespective of the Gender it is Cet and pronounced the same as Cette.
Thank you Alexa
Mr Spence Eng
Very clear 👍👍👍
Helped me so much on my test !
I am glad it did! Bravo Crystal!
Alexa, super teacher, thank you!
this is amazing!!
however i am struggling to tell the differences betwwen "ce", "se" and ces and ses
help madam..
grace nyamen sa, son, se and ses are possessive pronouns.
Examples:
Sa fille = her/his daughter
Son cahier = her/his notebook
Se reposer = he/she rests
Ses chaussures = his/her shoes
Notice that these work with both male and female subjects, because these possessive pronouns agree in gender with the word that follows instead.
Sa =féminine
Son = masculine
Se = either (I think)
Ses = plural
Ce =this/that
Ces = these/those
I hope this helps.
Prof, I can't stop saying how great your classes are. You just make it fun and easy! Thank you very much 1000 times!
XOXO!
Merci pour cette leçon ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much Alexa..I had stress with my teacher when I asked her. How I know is masc.or femen.? Her answer was... I do not know how to explain..its by heart...your explanation was great.that is what I was looking for..You are awesome!
Additionally, when an adjective falls between a demonstrative adjective and a singular masculine noun, and this adjective begins with a vowel-like sound, even if the noun begins with a consonant, "cet" is used in this matter (eg ce garçon, but cet autre garçon), but if this adjective begins with a consonant, even if the noun begins with a vowel-like sound, "ce" is used in this matter (eg cet homme, but ce même homme). In other words, the demonstrative adjectives "ce" or "cet" must agree with the adjective's first letter in this matter, NOT the noun's.
Merci beaucoup Madame Alexa pour votre magnifique enseignement tu es très gentille
This video helped me so much!
Great teaching I have learnt a lot from your channel
I love the way you teach, merci merci merci beaucoup
Alexa: Let's say that you don't know the rest of the sentence...
Me: YES TRUE, I SERIOUSLY DON'T KNOW THE MEANING OF IT.
Ha ha so cute the way you did Alexa says...then yourself. Adorable indeed
Very nice explanation
I like u teaching madame Alex thank you for today
Merci beaucoup prof Alexa Tu es tres bien .
Do we have to check on adjective such as delicious whether it is feminine or masculine ?
12:19
the best scene 😂
Thank you for your teaching. pefect
Merci Alexa, this helped me a lot :)
What happens when there is a feminine noun with a vowel followed by it? For masculine, it is "cet" that gets used? What's used for feminine? Is it ca?
Still cette, only certain adjectives and possesive articles take that in consideration.
thanks for all the videos alexa Merci beaucoup
merci madame. can u make a video on articles catractes pls it will really help me
This really helped thank you so much
