I find it frustrating that Bethesda have made Terminator games before in the past, but they haven't made any for about twenty years now. And now I'm waiting for the smarmy ''but Fallout'' comments.
Jose Rodriguez Sony cant just make it exclusive since it’s not owned by Sony so if the owners did want a game they’d probably make it for every platform so that they can make more money
Future Shock really brought in the feel of the future scenes of Terminator. I wish I played more of that game. Also I loved Terminator 2 on the C64 as a kid.
Anything story driven would be great,i don't know if you played the Avatar game that was pretty good, you could play as human or Na'vi something like that would be nice,as long as it's not multiplayer, battle royal and full with microtransactions
United4Games The Terminator: Future Shock was a quite good game when it was released in 1995 and it was developed by Beteshda. It's sucessor Skynet ("The Terminator: Skynet" in Europe) was also quite good. Future Shock was also the first first person perspective shooter that made use of the mouse and polygons instead of sprites.
I want James Camerons future war to be recreated in a full AAA game. With no shity multiplayer and with James Cameron leading the project. ID software or even Activison.
I actually enjoyed the terminator 3: the redemption. At least all the bits that had nothing to do with the movie (and to be fair very little did). It mainly focused on the T-850 from reprogramming up to getting sent to the past, like one or two mission during the movie, and then went nuts and switched to and jumped to an alternate future where skynet won and you had to fight super powerful terminators.
I remember going to grand slam for me and my friends birthday parties and when we finished eating, playing, and opening presents me and Marcus would always go straight to either the Lost World Jurassic Park or Terminator Salvation. But sadly when I went back about a year ago, the guns were broken so we couldn't play it.
There’s still a decent Terminator game that needs to be made. It should be absolutely story driven in the style of Metal Gear Solid. We were already given Alien: Isolation. There needs to be a great Terminator and Predator game.
I'd love to see a Terminator third person shooter RPG with base management elements. Or a Terminator game that spans thirty years from the start of the war to the end. So long as we play as John Connor in both I'm happy.
Something in the style of peace walker/MGSV would really suit this, something with stealth infiltration missions and base management would be really good if it was given the proper treatment
I like how the roles are backwards in these games. Human gets shot 100 times by terminators, he doesn't die. Terminators die in 1-3 shots. I guess these terminators were made in china? Also the human characters can react, move, aim so fast but terminators are sloooooow as hell... must be pentium 1 running windows 95.
Future Shock looks dated now, but at the time it was amazing. Had the right levels of creepiness & fear that later similar style games didn't replicate. Also had a great story and some really fun driving & flying segments A cat & mouse Terminator game similar to Alien Isolation was suggested by someone else. Brilliant idea
My idea for a good Terminator game would be one where you play as a T800 (with Arnold's voice and likeness) in the future during the war. Your mission would be to hunt down and kill the human resistance in a huge sandbox type open world that would span several different locations across the earth. It would be a neat touch to see Arnold playing the villain Terminator again, and even cooler to play as him, especially in the future setting
For Multiplayer, I think it would make a Great asymmetrical one. 10 vs 1 or 5 vs 1. Terminator Vs. Resistance. Both in the future and the past. One is fragile and flawed, other is stronger, no recoil, easy to target, harder to kill etc. Can't go wrong.
Right and in the end, you get reprogrammed and sent back in time to protect John Connor, thus bringing you back to T2. The twist was that you didn't know you were the same make and model from T2 until the end.
6xordorigma2011 I never beat it cause I remember a level that you had to destroy these power cell things and I could never even destroy 2 without my vehicle getting blown up. So I never beat it
It was the Zelda of the Terminator games. Very innovative as far as gameplay and creative. How many other games can you hijack cybernetic vehicle and control it, zipline down a powerline in a car and surf on a drone? Let alone in the same game? None!
Future Shock and Skynet were great. Perhaps enemy AI lacked somewhat (many had too close-ranged guns, allowing player to snipe them from beyond their range), but the level design was impressive, the atmosphere of desolation was great, missions were interesting and diverse and story (told via cutscenes in the Resistance bunker between missions) made sense. Those were good, immersive games for their time.
Stone was a traitor what happened after Reese let him go? I want to know the rest of that story, did that Perry guy save Luna's life in time and who the fuck was that other guy? Stones brother????
If anyone is wondering which of these actually play really well and which versions are absolutely worth playing, check out The Terminator (Sega CD), T2 The Arcade Game (Arcade), Robocop vs Terminator (Sega Genesis) and Terminator 3 Redemption (Xbox)
I feel like Journey to Silius should have been included. Originally a Terminator game before the rights were lost and the title chsnged. Such a great game and kickass soundtrack.
We still need a great Terminator game. I mean, the potentials are amazing. It's unbelievable how underestimated this franchise is in terms of video games.
Terminator Dawn of Fate was such a great game. Not so good on the gameplay but it had a great story. The distopian future and the music that accompanied with made it great.
It was the first game offering free mouse aim and full 3d enemies (even before Quake). Not to mention its xNgine was used also in "The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall", making Future Shock a distant great-great-grandfather of the mighty Skyrim :)
actually i think that would be a cool idea if properly executed running around in a devastated L.A. (and/or any other major metropolis really) in an open world with random encounters would be pretty awesome, add in the survival aspect like medical supplies and ammo (maybe even water and food?) and you got yourself a very interesting design set in the Terminator world :)
I'm kinda sad that the Tiger Electronic hand-held LCD version of The Terminator game didn't make it in. I played that game as a kid, and it was hard to beat.
They could make an amazing Terminator game in this day and age like GTA meets Skynet like free roam as a Arnold omg with the strength it could be epic destroyable environment uh!
I had fun with Redemption... In the parts that didn't involve driving. The 3rd person ahooter segments were where it shined for me. I loved how the more of the exoskeleton showed the more you took damage.
Dawn of the Machines and War of the machines were both games I loved growing up. Not sure how well they hold up.(especially one being an online shooter)
The fact that we haven't gotten a Terminator shooter on current platforms is a disgrace. The hardware is there to make it look good and stable. Just the million dollar question remains... 3rd person shooter? 1st person shooter? RPG or RTS?
I actually played Terminator 3 2003 I actually have fun with it. I mean sure it gets one part movie wrong in the game, but I still felt like a badass shooting down endless amount of terminators. And try out all the awesome weapons I mean come on. That's the only thing that, It got Right.👍
I'd like a Terminator game where you can play all the terminators either in a Mortal Kombat type game or a open world game. Even a nonlinear game would be good. It should be third person/FPS like GTA V. We will never get decent game like that through.
Set in May 1984, but Skynet is so desperate, that they just sent every Terminator back in time. And, of course, John Connor sends himself, his army, and a boatload of reprogrammed Terminators after them. Everyone in 1984 is just very confused.
Such potential for this series. In my opinion DICE could make ana awesome Terminator game. Imagine huge scale battles man vs machine with graphics using the Frostbite engine!
The Terminator from 1991 was a great game for its time. Go into the shop -> select all gear -> pay for it -> steal the money from the cash register -> leave shop -> WIN!!
I want a terminator game with a mission style story mode, we constantly got (kinda crappy some of em) arcade shooters, although salvation was pretty damn good

About Terminator Genisys: Future War = sucks, disgraceful game
The Krypt It's on a Phone, so no shit it doesn't look like the other games.
Shit film, Shit game.
Matthew Hauxwell haha yeah, at least the game is faithful to the movie, both being shit!
its an awesome game you idiot!
I like the game...
We need a good open world future war terminator game...
Kevin Edward True
There’s no fun in shooting hundreds of terminators. A good terminator game should be horror/survival, kind of like “Alien: Isolation”.
HELL YEAH
I like that idea but it I think it would definitely work but it has to have multiplayer
I find it frustrating that Bethesda have made Terminator games before in the past, but they haven't made any for about twenty years now. And now I'm waiting for the smarmy ''but Fallout'' comments.
We need a ps4 terminator game
Based on the first movie where you can play as Kyle or the t800
Jose Rodriguez why ps4 only? It should be on all platforms
iplyrunescape305 agreed. I just mentioned ps4 since they usually lag behind pc on games.
They don't make good games anymore like that.
Jose Rodriguez Sony cant just make it exclusive since it’s not owned by Sony so if the owners did want a game they’d probably make it for every platform so that they can make more money
Or based the War in Future
Future Shock really brought in the feel of the future scenes of Terminator. I wish I played more of that game. Also I loved Terminator 2 on the C64 as a kid.
I had no idea there were so many Terminator games. That makes me feel better about life.
1:04 that gameplay sounded like mission impossible theme song lol
Ikr lol😂
Holy shit, I didn't realize XD
DAYUM COINCIDENCE XD
Thanks sherlock
I really hope some AAA developer will pick this up and finally makes a terminator game worth buying
United4Games how about one similar to a survival game or one kinda like war of the machines ? Ether way I want one where we play as a terminator
Anything story driven would be great,i don't know if you played the Avatar game that was pretty good, you could play as human or Na'vi something like that would be nice,as long as it's not multiplayer, battle royal and full with microtransactions

Terminator Salvation is the best one
I actually enjoyed the terminator 3: the redemption.

It's a decent game, but still te best on the list.
You mean that arcade one you can play at cici’s
Future Shock best
The terminator arcade game about salvation was amazing. I played it alot.
There’s still a decent Terminator game that needs to be made. It should be absolutely story driven in the style of Metal Gear Solid. We were already given Alien: Isolation. There needs to be a great Terminator and Predator game.

MGS is awesome.
Something in the style of peace walker/MGSV would really suit this, something with stealth infiltration missions and base management would be really good if it was given the proper treatment
A terminator horror game where you play as a civilian would be awesome
ruizj2006
or in the style of
G T A.
I like how the roles are backwards in these games. Human gets shot 100 times by terminators, he doesn't die. Terminators die in 1-3 shots. I guess these terminators were made in china?

the brand was Xiaomi or Oppo
10:43 when the gatlin gun sounds like a M60 -.-
Future Shock looks dated now, but at the time it was amazing. Had the right levels of creepiness & fear that later similar style games didn't replicate. Also had a great story and some really fun driving & flying segments
A cat & mouse Terminator game similar to Alien Isolation was suggested by someone else. Brilliant idea
I played Skynet, looks very similar, and got that exact feeling you wrote about. Was a great game
@@jozseftoth9368 i play it too...a nice game for that time (1996)!
I like the song from judgement day 2 when they're kicking each other :))))))) 1:03

Terminator 3 Redemption was the best Terminator game!!!😉
6xordorigma2011 I never beat it cause I remember a level that you had to destroy these power cell things and I could never even destroy 2 without my vehicle getting blown up. So I never beat it
Yes I can definitely agree with that 2004 was I think the best time for terminator games
michael cooper
I would be so happy if this would happen
Yeah! And the fun video when they give the voice to the t800 included as an unlockable.
I still love the old T2 arcade game. That was almost addictive.
Redemption was a great game
It was the Zelda of the Terminator games. Very innovative as far as gameplay and creative. How many other games can you hijack cybernetic vehicle and control it, zipline down a powerline in a car and surf on a drone? Let alone in the same game? None!
Its looks great. These games never made it over the big pond to Germany though, just the crappy shit
Redemption was difficult never beated that game
Înstead i complete Terminator Salvation and Resistance on 2 pcs
Future Shock and Skynet were great. Perhaps enemy AI lacked somewhat (many had too close-ranged guns, allowing player to snipe them from beyond their range), but the level design was impressive, the atmosphere of desolation was great, missions were interesting and diverse and story (told via cutscenes in the Resistance bunker between missions) made sense. Didn't know there were sooo many Terminator games
Terminator Dawn of Fate was awesome!
😎👍
Stone was a traitor what happened after Reese let him go? I want to know the rest of that story, did that Perry guy save Luna's life in time and who the fuck was that other guy? Stones brother????
I spend so much coins on Terminator 2: The Arcade Game like crazy at the arcade. Fun times!!!
'96 SKYNET was so atmospheric. Loved this game. My first game on CD. And one of the first played via dial-up with friends.
Massive ammounts of cocaine behind SEGA génesis versión of Robocop vs Terminator. It NEVER goes down.
Terminator 2 Judgment day,Primal rage and Altered Beast were my arcade games of choice in my childhood
Salvation was basically like Terminator meets Gears of War, and for that reason, I quite liked it.
Gears is still better
If anyone is wondering which of these actually play really well and which versions are absolutely worth playing, check out The Terminator (Sega CD), T2 The Arcade Game (Arcade), Robocop vs Terminator (Sega Genesis) and Terminator 3 Redemption (Xbox)
I liked T3 Rise of the machines best on PS2. Along with Dawn Of Fate :)
God bless us...im getting old😔
the 91 arcade game (i think by midway) will forever live in my memory
I feel like Journey to Silius should have been included. Originally a Terminator game before the rights were lost and the title chsnged. Such a great game and kickass soundtrack.
You forgot Terminator Salvation Arcade
Jose Garcia yeah an T2 for SNES
Now that is an awesome game! It's very long for an arcade game, the main reason why my brother and I still havnt beaten it yet
Along with terminator 3 rise of machines
Terminator Salvation was for iOS, too!
and Robocop vs Terminator on Gameboy
It's cool playing as The Terminator character in Gears 5 and Mortal Kombat 11 as a guest character from movies and games.
The redemption was awesome especially with the visual damage.
We still need a great Terminator game. I mean, the potentials are amazing. It's unbelievable how underestimated this franchise is in terms of video games.
Amazing video 😎✌
The soundtrack for The Terminator on the Genesis was and still is too sweet!!
Thank you. Great video and info. Interesting the Robocop vs. Terminator concepts. Almost like AVP.
7:28 lol the Doom pain sound effect
Terminator 3 redemption was the best
Terminator Dawn of Fate was such a great game. Not so good on the gameplay but it had a great story. The distopian future and the music that accompanied with made it great.
The Terminator: Future Shock
Yeah, no kidding, right?! 😁
Great game
Looks good never even heard of it
It was the first game offering free mouse aim and full 3d enemies (even before Quake).
Not to mention its xNgine was used also in "The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall", making Future Shock a distant great-great-grandfather of the mighty Skyrim :)
Shoot the moon and it goes Ouch and then falls out of the sky
The good old days
awwww what about the Terminator Salvation (arcade game), that was damn cool.
6:18 . Sega does Terminator. So, Robocop vs Terminator beats everything except Salvation.
Buen vídeo crack
Memories of when AVGN reviewed the NES and SNES Terminator games.
Good video, but I would have liked a description of what system it was on!
they should make terminator GTA style....that would be awesome...
That would kind of beat the point of terminator
actually i think that would be a cool idea if properly executed
running around in a devastated L.A. (and/or any other major metropolis really) in an open world with random encounters would be pretty awesome, add in the survival aspect like medical supplies and ammo (maybe even water and food?) and you got yourself a very interesting design set in the Terminator world :)
It'd be better if it were more like Fallout, only with the ability to drive vehicles.
There is terminator 2 mod for gta sa
@@diplleshow2625
But that's not an official release. It is fun changing your character into a T-800 though.
Arcade game and Future shock...the best ones :D
System shock ...
A game that s always playable
Model 101 will participate in the Mortal Kombat Tournament as a dlc character for MK 11.
I love TERMINATOR
I'm kinda sad that the Tiger Electronic hand-held LCD version of The Terminator game didn't make it in. I played that game as a kid, and it was hard to beat.
TERM.EXE, great game. Especially after you figure out there is an armory in the one corner of the map with every gun under the sun.
They could make an amazing Terminator game in this day and age like GTA meets Skynet like free roam as a Arnold omg with the strength it could be epic destroyable environment uh!
Ha ha ... T2 Arcade Game, it took me some money to finish it: D
Terminator on Sega-cd was superb for the time.
I dont care about haters i loved playing Terminator Salavtion game the game had badass soundtracks
Fantastic game
She-Venom used to love playing it with my cousin. Good times
Ok have fun with your 4h 60$ game.
Shittiest story and worst dialogue of all games.
The music is awesome but everything else is piss poor in that game it hurts to play it
Robocop vs Terminator 1994 (genesis) was a badass game!
IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR T3 WAR OF THE MACHINES FOR YEARS BUT I COULDN'T REMEMBER THE NAME
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Terminator 1 was excellent I played it when first released.
I love this!!!
4:23
The Sega CD "Terminator" port has music that sounds like it was ripped straight from Mega Man X LOL
I had fun with Redemption... In the parts that didn't involve driving. The 3rd person ahooter segments were where it shined for me. I loved how the more of the exoskeleton showed the more you took damage.
Would love to see a game like star wars battlefront 2 but with a terminator theme
0:15 my first game of my life
6:19 ВОТ ОНО.! Четкая игра, в детсве от неё перся.!
Terminator chess? Waw. I didn´t know that.:)
Why’s 11:40 have the infamous halo warthog sound 😂
I love Terminator 3 Rise of the Machine in PS2
goddamn what the hell was that first game that was crazy. I always remember the T2 game boy game my brother had it when i was about 6
The game boy side scroller looked like the most fun out of them all
The Genesys should be at the beginning of the video lol
Nice 👌
DU DUN DUN DU DUN!!!
SUBZERO GAMING *Every Terminator trailer*
Ya i know right
Bba ra baaam~~ bba ba bam
Good to know theres 3d versions before robocop vrs terminator that did probably make it past the truck with a paddle
Dawn of the Machines and War of the machines were both games I loved growing up. Not sure how well they hold up.(especially one being an online shooter)
The fact that we haven't gotten a Terminator shooter on current platforms is a disgrace. The hardware is there to make it look good and stable.

Set in May 1984, but Skynet is so desperate, that they just sent every Terminator back in time. And, of course, John Connor sends himself, his army, and a boatload of reprogrammed Terminators after them.
Everyone in 1984 is just very confused.
Rise of the machines and redemption we're my favourite
terminator salvation the arcade game was top notch
Robocop vs the Terminator actually exists?
The crossover that we’ve been waiting for
I remember playing a fps terminator game in ps2 that makes you play terminator 3 history
T3: Rise of the machines and Redemption are my favorites
I had a $10 dollar a day T2 arcade shooter game habit the entire summer of 1993.
Terminator Redemption and Salvation 😍
Happy Anniversary Terminator game 24nd(1991-2015).
Terminator 3 was better.
I mean the war of the machines.
I want a terminator game with a mission style story mode, we constantly got (kinda crappy some of em) arcade shooters, although salvation was pretty damn good
still waiting for a masterful-relevant Terminator videogame.
I found dawn of gate for ps2 at a swap meet. You have to wonder why that movie hasn't come out yet. I never finished it cause i always ran out of ammo and some levels I went too fast and ended up dying.
All I can say is "phase plasma rifle in a 40 watt range"
the irony here is that Salvation in 2009 was the best T game yet lol
ロボコップの動きが凄い😲
ooh, i love terminator space
We really need a good Terminator game... T3: Redemption was cool, played it when I was a kid and it was soo damn hard, but I did beat it.
This world needs a Terminator game that has a platform like Until Dawn and Man of Medan. Like you play as Kyle and by your choices you can save Sarah or get her killed. And also you could play as T800 ofc. With right choices you get closer to Sarah and bad choices leads to death.
I would die for a remake of future shock and Skynet.
