no when u take the govern off the right way it wont do nothing bad just make sure to upgrade the parts like flywheel etc so it doesnt blow up

Hello Great video I just bought one a couple days ago and it’s coming in tomorrow. Can someone explain how to take the governor off?
You need to lockout the spring that goes from the Flywheel/Clutch to the throttle. I show it in the video half way though.
Can u show it a bit clearer I couldn’t really see I’m Srry or just tell me in the comments because I can’t see where it is
@@Shrekfamily- they’re is a spring that connects the throttle to the flywheel clutch. That is the spring you have to lockout. The way it works is when the clutch spins up it slows down the throttle, by locking the spring it can’t limit the throttle.

id recommend getting a torque converter setup if you got the funds, it can top out at like 50 with stock drive pulleys

How do you safely unlock the speed limiter

So is the zip tie method how you remove the limiter? And also do I have to do anything else for the zip tie method or is that it?
Zip tie method is the only method I know.

with the governor removed you definitely need to add a torque converter to your upgrades to get even more speed

You lockout the spring so it can’t stretch. The spring that goes from the throttle, to the clutch fan

Is it just small or are you really big i have a coleman bt200x and it weighs as much as me
its really small.
there's no way that thing goes 70 mph with a 111cc engine!!! I have a Coleman CT200U-EX that I bought a Tillotson 225cc Performance Engine from GoPowerSports and it has 18.686 HP and I can only get it up to 60 mph.

It’s in the middle video. There a spring that goes to the flywheel that you have to lock out with a zip tie. I did it to Zays bike in the video.

How did you unlock the bike
find the spring that connects to the lever for the governor and then put a zip tie through it and do it pretty tightly so the spring can’t move

way too fast for mini bike as far as I am concerned! I put a 224 in my Coleman and it is as fast as I would ever want it to be without any upgrades aside from the little bigger motor.no suspension makes it super hard to control at high speeds if you hit even a slight bump
i had it for an hour and already got pulled over twice😢
Why do you say at your own risk when you get rid of the limiter
Cause there isn’t a rev limiter on the engine, you can rev it too high, float the valves and blow the engine up
