  • The Spirit and the Flesh are possibly the most misunderstood terms used by St. Paul.
In the Book of Romans, St. Paul speaks of the spirit and the flesh. By flesh, does he mean body and by spirit does he mean our souls?
Or is Paul using technical rabbinic terminology that we need to pay attention to in order to properly understood what Paul means when he uses the terms spirit and the flesh?
Check out this video with Dr. Brant Pitre where he will discuss Spirit and the Flesh in St. Paul's writings.
