Aprilaire 500 Whole Home Humidifier Installation - How to

In this video, I will be installing the Aprilaire 500 whole home humidifier. I will cover the issues that you may experience while installing the humidifier and how to fix them. I will also talk about how to use the humidifier and some of the features it has.

I have this unit. My humidity on the unit says 13%. Is this because of the sub zero temperatures we are experiencing in Wisconsin? Also I notice the humidifier stays on even after the furnace shuts off. Is this normal?

You had to install it in out side not in. !!!

It's better to install it in the return then have the incoming duct connected to the supply, you get hot air to get your hot water to evaporate better

We had one professionally installed with poor results. Install company has been out 7 times trouble shooting. They now say they are out of ideas. DO NOT install this unit...Sorry I did
