Filler and non-canon doesn't necessarily mean those events didn't happen in the world of Naruto, it just means that those events did not have any impact on the bigger narrative. Those events still could've happened in the world.

I mean technically you can have canon stuff that doesn't have much impact either. Like it's canon that Jiraiya is a pervert but did his pervertedness really impact the narrative of Naruto? not really, it just fleshes him out as a character and gives him an iconic trait. Same could be said about Naruto liking ramen or Ino working at the flower shop, it's canon, but it also didn't impact the narrative really.

No thats what it means because it conflicts with when these events would happen in the canon. In the crescent moon movie sakura has her super strength but naruto left for training with jiraiya. Unless naruto came back to the village for a mission, in which case then it wouldnt make sense why they later say, in shippuden, they hadnt seen him since he left for training with jiraiya.
Your definition is wrong. Not canon means it did not happen in-universe. Anime Fillers are actually canon for the anime universe. But usually when people talk about "not canon" they mean the canon of the original source by the original author, which is the manga in this case.

They all have a similar story though. Someone needs help, doesn't like naruto, and at the end he uses a rasengan depending on the movie name. Still like it though.

The train tracks were always there. They were just buried under the ice. Lol 😂 Sandayu mentions it when they were traveling through the tunnel. The chakra was conducting through the tracks, melting the ice to make way for the train.

or more accurately, the english dub often completely changes the meaning of the original japanese lines(anime in general, not just naruto)

oh damn! its finally here! been waiting for this for ages! xD Im so glad :D you guys definitely gotta watch the rest as well they are all dope, especially in Shippuden there are some absolute bangers! :) there is a Naruto Land actually in Japan :D in Haku's backstory there was snow :) respect to my man Nahid for remembering the beauty of Natsuhiboshi during this movie :D but ye I would say this is a dope movie, cool story, its very nice and a lot of fun, beautiful :) the princess was a cool character as well and its awesome seeing the good old gang together :) more cool stuff in the next movies hope you guys do them as well :) thats why you watch the extra stuff to get more of the characters and make the whole experience better and I will say it for the millionth time if its in the damn show, unless its a special, its canon :D manga canon is a small fracture of the whole of Naruto world :)
I honestly love this movie. They premiered the English dub in theaters before the official US release back in 2006, and it dropped before they’d gotten to the end of the Search for Tsunade arc in part 1. So I remember riding the train into the city with my brother to see it, HOPING they would still call Rasengan “Rasengan” in the English dub. Good times lol

From the other Naruto movies, the third Shippuden one (Will of Fire) is one I think many people pass over when they shouldn't. My favorite thing about it is that pretty much everyone from Naruto's extended group gets to fight and show their stuff, both solo and as a group. Even Tenten has her moment in it.

What the hell about the sub line did you think was "so much better" there? And just in general, no, here and elsewhere subtitled scripts are rarely better than (accurately adapted) dub scripts, since the translation is often overly direct and literal, leading to the dialogue sounding much more awkward and stilted than it does in a properly adapted dub script.
Yea, I liked the dub line better there and the line delivery on it was really natural feeling. I wonder what their problem with it is?
I also liked a line later in the movie later on when he's yelling at Kurama in dub it's, "Show some guts will ya!" to the sub's, "Show mw what you got!" The former feels more Naruto to me, I guess. The translations though are super similar in both anyway.

I feel like its safe to say that fillers can be canon- I think canon especially in terms of Naruto just means it wasn't released in comic form in order so like it can still be part of the world it was just created after the initial series. A lot of the shippuden fillers in my book are canon because even thought we didnt get to get those perspectives and storylines as the manga came out it still adds SO much to the world and imo adds to the main story in other ways even if the fillers get a 3 min recap in the technically non filler episodes lol. So excited the next shippuden arc...we're so close!

The movie that Princess Koyuki was talking about at the end was a movie adaptation of Jiraiya's novel; that's why Kakashi was so excited.
*Spoiler alert:*
In Boruto, Kakashi visits an iconic location from that movie adaptation. He never mentioned Princess Koyuki by name, but it's clearly stated that she was the main heroine.
the only problem is it doesn't make much sense timeline-wise. Sasuke's still there but Naruto also knows the rasengan. In the manga Sasuke is hospitalized by Itachi, then Naruto and Jiraiya go get Tsunade and during that time Naruto learns the rasengan, and then Tsunade heals Sasuke and pretty much immediately Sasuke is filled with angst and leaves soon after, he's even surprised when he sees the rasengan during the hospital fight. Now in the anime they throw in an added filler mission between Naruto returning with Tsunade and when Sasuke leaves and they try to make Sasuke's recovery after that mission part of his reason for leaving, so the only way it works is if this was a mission after Tsunade returns and heals Sasuke but before the filler mission before Sasuke leaves.
When everyone saw the rainbow rasengan for the first time, every single person I know who watched Naruto at the time was losing their minds!
So we could have a chance to see their reaction on road to ninja movie. The last is mandatory though.

I remember when I was a wee lad, I turned my Tv on and as usual it was on Cartoon Network. However, they were playing this movie. I searched for something else to watch using the guide and the movie still playing in the background. Nothing else interested me, so I watched the movie and I absolutely fell in love with Naruto. That random time I just turned my Tv on is what opened anime for me and Naruto will always be my favorite show. I look forward to your guys' future reactions!

Naruto the Movie 3:Guardian of the Cresecent Moon has one of the best fights in my opinion and honestly my favorite of all the Naruto Movies
This was such a pleasant surprise. Among the original movies i'd love it if you guys would react to Naruto movie 3, crescent moon kingdom (it has Lee as Sasuke's replacement). Other than that the 2nd movie was pretty bad imo.
Shippuden has decent movies but the only ones' i'd ask you to watch are probably Road to Ninja and Blood prison mainly. You have to watch the Last movie though( which isn't great in my opinion but fun enough and relevant to canon so...)
the last is the only movie they NEED to watch because it's the only one that's actually canon (Boruto used to be, but both the manga and anime implemented it and both actually fleshed it out more to the point that there's really no point in watching the movie version. even the animation isn't really better since they did a fantastic job with the important fight scenes)

Last is obviously something they need to watch as far as canon is concerned, I just think the other movies are better.

Lol no Kishimoto said he gave up writing women in general because he realized he was bad at it. But that’s not the proper take, he should’ve just tried to improve on his faults. People didn’t hate Sakura until that one point in shippuden. Before that they started to like her because she became useful.

@@randalthekidd7006 Now that you say it, i actually agree. Not with the konan part, i think the Amegakure trio are already the best team as far as team work and dynamics are concerned.
But if they had shown that one moment where the konoha 11 decided to eliminate Sasuke and actually set out to capture him as a team, preferably with Neji, Lee, Shikamaru and Sakura, instead of just sakura opting to do it alone, she could've actually been the one to break through his genjutsu while the other three do the attacking and restraining. Would've made for a much better story and highlighted how big of a deal even her wanting to kill Sasuke was since the major complaint with her character ends up being her obsession with Sasuke lmao.
