KALANCHOE FEDTSCHENKOI usually produces pups on damaged or dying leaves. MOTHER OF THOUSANDS will just produce pups in their hundreds one the leaves. If you propagate from leaves, they will root from where it was attached to the stem and produce pups around the leaves. You can bury the air roots when repotting. This will help create a thicker, stronger root system as the plant starts to regrow.
