Elevation with a crowd is pure money.
Double or Nothing, Elevation and even the go home Dynamite prove that AEW have done so much right in terms of building stars during the pandemic. Truly, this is still the beginning for the promotion, and there's nowhere to go but up. The passion you can hear from these fans is palpable.

Dude I have been crazy into AEW since jump and have not been disappointed yet. A big reason for my enjoyment is how much fun they appear to be having and how open the whole product is. And they clearly listen to what the fans want.
Yes. Seeing fans feels so right. Hearing Tony Schiavone say “go Brian Pillman” feels so right. Thunder Rosa being an absolute star feels so right. This episode feels so right.

My Dad passed in December of 2020 he loved AEW, but his favorite wrestler was Tommy "Wildfire" Rich. Hearing Paul say his name tonight gave me another reason to love AEW and connect with my Dad.

What a nice way to start the week
Phenomenal episode! Every match was entertaining and felt like it was meaningful, and all the promos and interviews really build up everyone in AEW (especially Marvez- Bad Boy Summer!!).
But the fans, oh man... So amazing to finally hear these Dark/Elevation vets get the pops they deserve. Penta with that kid was so special. And Jungle Boy!! He’s a true superstar! I had to watch his entrance over just to take in the amazingness of it all.
triangulo de la muerte is for the children. they're such badasses but also cool enough for the kids to enjoy. AEW doesn't insult our intelligence and they knows kids are smart.
Anything with "Big Swol" is never a meaningful or big thing.
The Varsity Blondes are getting over and I love it. Great way for Pillman to pay respects to his dad. And they have a good old school feel! I hope they keep building them to get a bit more fan support then let them win those titles. It could be huge if done right. People really want to root for Pillman Jr

I love Paul White, but honestly I was uncertain about him as an announcer. This episode won me over. He's got great mic skills, bringing a breadth of wrestling history and knowledge to the desk. Good job Paul.

Damn. This is really the first time that The Acclaimed have ever actually been in front of a real crowd together. Their schtick went over pretty well.

I'm really happy to see the card size for these episodes go down a bit, as much as I will miss the big Dark marathons we had. Should be a blast.
Even though she's double tough, Tay Conti has that... 'weird energy' about her. It makes it very hard to NOT like her. Like if you spliced the DNA of Thunder Rosa with that of Yuka Sakazaki. She'll friggin' kill you, but in a super-positive way. Like Lufisto, or if Sara Del Rey took MDMA.

I'll admit, at first I thought he was some generic Univision Spanish on hand translator, but you can see the passion in how he sinks his teeth into his promos/translations. I really hope he can stay on as the Lucha Bros' manager for that moment when they finally get those belts.

All the years watching Goldust as a weird act, never really saw how good Dustin could be on the mic. Just kills it. This whole event is great, and hearing the name Brian Pillman again pulls at my heart strings.

Well I think it's safe to say that Jungle Boy is officially a star.
Jungle Boy and Darby are definitely the two breakout stars in AEW so far. You could probably add Orange Cassidy to that list too, although he was already an indy star.
Man the pops on elevation tonight was awesome tay and jungle had the best tay was soooooo happy and pop foe jungle boy in main event made that match special keep it up AEW 🙌🔥💖

@@santidasilva1300 well, this is their first show with a big-ass crowd. they've been wrestling in small shows and now, they're in the big time. i can give them a pass for being nervous but they got the love from the people. that will help them. they did the work and if they continue doing the work and do what they do best. they will be LOVED and get some of that nice merch money. it's a better reaction than hearing fake crowd noises at the slop-dome.

It's amazing just how much Julia Hart has added to the Varsity Blondes team. She's like the cherry on top of the sundae. Considering the team all sticks together long enough, I foresee them having multiple tag title runs (which we sadly never got to see with the original Hollywood Blondes.)
