I'm proud to know that a new train started connecting from Mysuru to Rameswaram via Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Kuppam, Jolarpettai, Salem, Namakkal, Karur and Tiruchirappalli. This is the most awaited route. WDP4D is the king of diesel train engines of India and it's my most favorite diesel hero of Indian railways and in fact I am a big fan of EMD locomotives.

Good vlog good presented on this new train inro from mysore, I hope train runs empty from there to banglore, and also not crowded, I hope people doesn't no about this train... It will jam packed soon, but train rack sharing with vadakans😢😢😢, smells lot especially windows splits rangoli marks all over wash basin etc etc, I have come across😢. Very bad situations... Vadakans. Naveen I was in S4 coach from KSR SBC upto TPJ there was loco change at KSR it was WAP4 it reached Trichy fort before 5am unscheduled stop excellent run I have come in the video alighting at Trichy thanks a lot God bless u excellent vlog

@naveenkumarvlogs : Gneneral policy for using a diesel loco for full stretch is if there are any stretch in the journey there is a gap in electrification then instead of starting with a electric loco and switch to diesel loco and then back to electric loco, they decided to use a Diesel loco for the whole journey. That's the general policy. Sometimes, loco shortage. but even if there is loco shortage, they use any electric loco capable of hauling at 100kmph and not a diesel unless there is a gap in electrification.
But in this stretch,there was no gap in electrification bro
yes, i could see that and from your input, it could be right as well. But the work doesn't have to be external. Even with the transformers are not fully set up ( the boxes we see beside the tracks) Cuz, IR has long ago pivoted to a policy which is Electric Locos first and if available.. So there is a reason why Diesel loco was used. @@NaveenKumarVlogs my guess is the following ones
Operational Flexibility and (or) Efficiency
Maintenance or Repair
Backup or Redundancy
Transition Period - I'm strongly thinking it is because of this. moving from unelectrified section to electrified section means, we may not have Electric locos allocated immediately. So instead of opting for a electric loco switch at some point in the journey as per policy IR would operate a diesel service until electric locos are allocated.
