    Where possible you want to save Lord Yama in grave for the opponent's turn to play around evenly and Dark Ruler No More.

    • @zephyrwargamesyugioh

      @cain5075 the 1 card left just needs to be destroyed assuming you keep the link 2 if opp destroys it yama brings it back

    In the first combo, you didn't trigger the destruction effect of Aruha, and instead you linked it off with Yama for Rage.
    You Sarama for Escape at this point rather than linking, destroying the Aruha and summoning out Rakea (any name tbf) with it. Then Rakea and Yama link into Rage, Shyama from grave pop Sarama, Sarama summon Sharvara and overlay both level 6s into Caeser.
    This leaves Yama in grave for reaction during the opponent's turn. Of course, you don't get the Aruha back in hand this way, but you can still use Escape to pop the Rage next turn and get it anyways.

    Lads the very first unchained live twin list you put up pre DAMA was my first ever paper deck and I've been absolutely loving the new unchained content lately.
    4/0'd my two most recent locals with the new version. Deck is very fun

    I've been playing this for a while now, I really recommend to always keep Yama in grave (except u are not able to make any endboard without using it's grave effect) and always try to end on ddd+rage+trap and Aruha, then I are basically evenly proof and u can't even get superpolyd. I learned this the hard way when u end on rakea and they superpoly rakea and the ddd.
    Great Video, keep up the good content 👍🏻

    there is a missplay where sarama shouldve special first before destroying a card on your field. so you can set aruha and pop aruha

    • @zephyrwargamesyugioh
      @zephyrwargamesyugioh  Před rokem

      Dosent make any difference right? As you still get the float and you still pop the trap either way just depends if you want the float of aruha 1 play before or not.

    • @cedricbaetens8003
      @cedricbaetens8003 Před rokem +1

      The actual misplay was that aruha should not have been linked off and instead sarama set escape, pop aruha, aruha summons another name from deck, shyama in grave pop sarama to revive itself, sarama float into sharvara, then overlay for caesar and link for rage, this would have left yama in grave to be used on the opponent's turn.

    • @zephyrwargamesyugioh
      @zephyrwargamesyugioh  Před rokem

      @@cedricbaetens8003 I wouldn't say that's a misplay, just an alternate way to play, as you swap Yama in GY for Aruha follow up in hand,
      Keeping yama in GY is safer, but if you want to go all out then using yama to exstend going 2nd would be better, taking that into account you'd also go into anguish instead of rage and you can then link with opp monster to make abomination.

    in combo nr 1 why not add rakkea back? cuz when u use caesar u can just set a chamber with shavara and then pop the chamber anytime u want with rakkea and then u special abominable soul and u have another pop.

      @crippledygo so as mentioned you can add either back, reason for adding back Aruha is to make sure you have plays to start back off for the next turn, was just being reserved with resources

  • @PlagueSpreader64
    @PlagueSpreader64 Před rokem

    So, what you're saying is that the whole deck just about revolves around D/D/D xyzs. I mean... they are pretty good so it tracks but what does the deck do about say... evenly matched or lightning storm? Also, what does the deck do going second?

    • @zephyrwargamesyugioh
      @zephyrwargamesyugioh  Před rokem +2

      Dosent resolve around DDDs the rank 6 just provides a very nice interruption with little investment.
      Going 2nd rather than making rage with Yama and any monster you go into anguish and then use one of opps monsters to make Abomination.
      On top of that 1 of your floats can go into the maindeck dog and link with opps monster to climb in other ways or direct to yama.
      Against evenly, and LS
      You hold back resource, LS isn't that bad as all your stuff floats resource and you'll useally have Backrow, plus a yama in GY to float around.
      Evenly can be a bit tricky but aslong as you keep yama in GY and the right card your good, not to mention the combos shown are from 2 cards so you still maintain 3 cards in hand for crack back or HTs that can hurt your opp

    • @jws.11995
      @jws.11995 Před rokem

      Against Evenly, you can end on Caeser + Rage + Rakea + Escape. They Evenly you, you Escape pop both Unchained names and keep your Caeser. You then get a float and an add, and in a lot of the combo lines the add will be a Sharvara which you can use to pop your floated guy. I usually float into Disaster bc it's a treat for your opponent and if they threaten it you can pop with Sharvara and get your Rage back.

    • @zephyrwargamesyugioh
      @zephyrwargamesyugioh  Před rokem +1

      You can either play through it as you maintain a lot of HT and recursion, you make the rank 6 DDD earlier or you play under it and control more with the traps
