Merry Christmas guys! On this day, I bring to you a new map created by Neiser for Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem!
City of The Pyramids is an Egyptian themed level created from various assets provided by TL studios that features fun fights, gorgeous visuals, and classic style secrets to find! Blaze your way through this must play mod in Single Player or have some friends join in for exhilarating COOP shenanigans!
Obviously I have a strong bias towards liking Neiser's maps; I believe he's very talented and he's also been a great friend to me since we first crossed paths. Biases aside though, I strongly consider this to be the single greatest map on the Siberian Mayhem workshop at the moment.
I urge everyone to give this map a playthrough and I also urge that you refrain from watching this video until you've beaten it.

Unfortunately this may be Neiser’s last map, but he definitely left behind a legacy of memorable levels with this and The Grand Forest I think being his magnum opus

I really like this map's aesthetics. I think it would be more dynamic with the more aggressive soundtrack (Citadel from SS4, for example), as the music is not as intense as the combat in the second phase of the level.
The boss is quite unique, since the modder added to the ability to repair itself via power stations.

I do Have the Siberian game BUT
I dont know how to download the MAP or MOD and install it for City of The Pyramids

If you're playing on console, there is no way to access mods as far as I know. If you are playing on PC and own the game through Steam, you should be able to access the Steam Workshop tab and find the mod there. You can use the link in the video description to take you directly to it, just make sure alongside subscribing to the map you subscribe to all side mods as well.
As a fellow map maker, I appreciate all the work that goes into modeling and making the visuals. But there are glaring issues here... The fights have almost zero personality. Its literally just every enemy all at once. The visuals are cool but staying in 3 areas the whole time and stretching it into a 50 minute map is not the best way to go about it. I know how much work goes into this stuff, but going too far and kind ruining it is also not the way to go about it. It's a fine map for Sam standards, but if this is the top of the crop than sam migh never see its potential fulfilled.
Is siberian mayhem better than serious sam 4? I'm about the buy the game. May I take your ideas about this game?
I wouldn’t say one’s better than the other since they both have their own community workshops with dedicated members, but in terms of price and post launch support from the devs, Siberian Mayhem is an easy win
