  • John Calvin and what we know as the 5 points of Calvinism are frequently debated during Calvinism vs Arminianism conversations. When someone asks, what is Calvinism, no matter if they are referring to the five points of Calvinism or the 4 points of Calvinism, the question need to so be answered using the Bible as our authority. In this video, Pastor Nelson with Bible Munch defines the 5 points of Calvinism, the 4 points of Calvinism, and the meaning of the acronym TULIP.

Because none of these jokers have a clue what it is nor do they know what Christianity is. They dont know the bible.
So called Calvinism is actually reformed theology. It comes from the Biblical teaching of the Bondage and enslavement of the Will. After we were booted from the garden for original sin we all became corrupt, and totally depraved. Look up Steve Lawson and Voddie Baucham.

Jesus is a kinsman Redeemer. He died for the OT Remnant.
Most of these people fight over the Koine Greek word which is all thru he NT. It's the Remnant God decided on all along, chosen out of every tribe language and nation. If you feel compelled to believe him obey him love him, you are called to be part of the faithful remnant. But you must repent and be borne again.

And who are the elect? Every single person who comes to Jesus right? Even if it's on their death bed. So WE have to assume everyone is saved. Because we don't know what's in someone's heart at the end. So every sinner you see has the potential to be saved at the end of their life, or reject God by the end of their life. Shouldn't we treat every person as an elect lest we be judging others and in turn be judged? And even if they end up not being elect, they are still a creation of God sewn in their mother's womb by his hands and should be held at the highest value as a hand crafted creation of God.

      CALVINISM.
      1. T. TOTAL DEPRAVITY , A DOCTRINE OF
      DEMONS.
I'M NOT SAYING THE PEOPLE ARE DEMONIC, IM SAYING THE DOCTRINE IS.
Calvinist, say we are dead, and that we can
Not even respond to God unless he regenerates us.
They turn salvation into a 2 step program,
Get REGENERATED, then get BORN FROM ABOVE.
1st, God does a spiritual work that allows you to see the truth, then if you believe, you are born again.
But the bible says,1 step is needed BELIEVE.
      New International Version JOHN 3:3
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
This total depravity is said to result in a total inability to contribute anything to one’s salvation, NOT EVEN A RESPONSE.
( But at the same time they teach age of accountability.) What a j😃ke
      English Standard Version JOHN 5:25
“Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is (NOW) here, when (the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God,) and those who HEAR will live.
      2. U. UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION
This means, only the ones Christ chose from the foundations of life are going to be saved, The rest are going to hell.
      BUT THE BIBLE SAYS.
      English Standard Version MATTHEW 7:13
(“Enter by the narrow gate.) For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.
      English Revised Version REV 22:17
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.
      3. L. LIMITED ATONEMENT
They say Christ only shed his blood for
      The elect.
      BUT THE BIBLE SAYS.
      Berean Standard Bible 1john 2:2
He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
YES ITS LIMITED TO WHOEVER WILL RECEIVE IT, BUT ITS OFFERED TO EVERYONE .
      4. I. IRRESISTIBLE GRACE
Grace that cannot be resisted, but its only for the elect.
This is the belief that the elect (those chosen by God) are going to be saved whether they desire to be or not.
      New International Version
      Acts 7:51
“You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: (YOU ALWAYS RESIST THE HOLY SPIRIT!)
      (Joshua 24:15).
Joshua told THE Israelites that they had the ability to choose whom they will serve
Peter told those on the day of Pentecost to save themselves (Acts 2:40). By BELIEVING.
      5. P. PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS
This means YOU HAVE TO persevere, hang on, hold fast to, not give up in order to be saved.
      BUT THE BIBLE SAYS.
      New International Version
      1 CORINTHIANS 15:57
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Calvinist make the death burial and resurrection of no effect, because if you are not elect it doesn't matter.
Charles Spurgeon there is no such thing as preaching Christ and him crucified unless we preach what is called CALVINISM.
      What a joke! 🤔
First of all, notice that God gives man his soul (Ecclesiastes 12:7; Zechariah 12:1). Can or would God give a man an evil soul? NO. This would contradict James 1:17 which says that every good and perfect gift comes from God. God does not bring forth evil
      Psalm 51:5, X Psalm 58:3. X GOD IS THE
GIVER OF THE SOUL, AND INDEED EVERYTHING THAT COMES FROM GOD IS GOOD. THE SEED OF ADAM IS BORN WITH A SINFUL NATURE, BECAUSE OF ADAMS SIN , BUT ADAM HIMSELF WAS PERFECT AND SINLESS WHEN HE WAS CREATED.
SO NO MAN WAS NOT CREATED WITH A SINFUL NATURE, ONLY HIS SEED WAS BORN WITH ONE.
      ADAM = MAN= PERFECTION.
      ADAM’S SEED = US = SINFUL NATURE.
WHEN GOD SPOKE WITH CAIN, HE SAID TO HIM, IF YOU DO WELL , WILL YOU NOT BE ACCEPTED.
THERE WAS NO TOTAL DEPRAVITY THERE.
      CALVINISM IS BLASPHEMY.
THEY DO NOT TRUST IN THE FINNISHED WORK OF CHRIST AND THE FULL ASSURANCE THAT COMES WITH IT.
      English Standard Version
      HEBREWS 10:22
let us draw near with a true heart in (FULL ASSURANCE OF FAITH with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE, DOES IT TALK ABOUT BEING ELECTED FOR SALVATION, ONLY BEING ELECTED FOR SERVICE.
There are those that God foreknew, and those he never knew.
ROMAN'S 8:29 THE ONES HE KNEW.
MATTHEW 7:23 THE ONE'S HE NEVER KNEW.
JUST BECAUSE HE FOREKNEW YOU DOESN'T MEAN YOU WERE ELECTED, FOR
      SALVATION OR CONDEMNATION.
JUST LIKE THE ONE'S HE NEVER KNEW,
      DOESN'T MEAN THEY WEREN'T ELECTED.
THE BIBLE CLEARLY TELLS US THAT THE JUDGMENT IS THAT THEY LOVED THE DARKNESS RATHER THAN THE LIGHT.
WE ARE CALLED TO TAKE THE MESSAGE
OF SALVATION TO THE WHOLE WORLD, SO THAT EVERYONE CAN HAVE A CHANCE TO BE SAVED, IF THEY WOULD BELIEVE IT.
King James Bible 2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
God talked to Cain, Cain didn't believe God.
God talked to Abraham. Abraham believed God.
      BOTH HAD A CHOICE.
WHEN GOD CREATED ADAM AND EVE, HE GAVE THEM WITH FREE WILL TO CHOOSE.
I HAVEN'T SEEN 1 VERSE WHERE GOD TAKES IT AWAY THAT ABILITY TO (CHOOSE)
      GAME OVER. 🎮 🥌 🏑 🎲 🎴 🏀 🎮
MAN HAS NEVER LOST HIS ABILITY TO HEAR, OR LISTEN.
      Berean Standard Bible MATTHEW 13:15
      For this people's heart has grown callous;
(THEY HARDLY HEAR WITH THEIR EARS), and they
have closed their eyes. Otherwise they
might see with their eyes, hear with their
ears, understand with their hearts, and turn,
      and I would heal them."
      English Standard Version
      ROMAN'S 10:18
But I ask, have they not heard? Indeed they
have, for "Their voice has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world."
      YOUR CHOICE.

I agree. It seems to me that Christians who get caught up debating things like Calvanism, or who are searching for a perfect understanding of Christianity are actually missing a big part of christianity altogether. Like you said I think it stems from pride, and also being obsessed with finding understanding in order to satisfy our own minds (and find peace from that understanding), but God's wisdom is simply different from our wisdom, it is too great for us to comprehend. Instead of focusing on an understanding of the Gospel, Christians should be more focused on simply putting it into practice. Give up your life for Jesus's sake and you will find true life in him. Calvinism, when quoting Romans 8:30..."and those whom he predestined he also called"...YOU need to go back to verse 29, "For those whom he FOREKNEW he also predestined to be conformed..." In other words, God called us because he already knew we would believe so he predestined us to be the image of his Son and do good works. Verse 29 seems to be left out when quoting Romans 8:30 regarding Calvinist's? God Bless

Thank you. Your comments helped to clarify what "The Five Points" are. The Scriptures address "Both Predestination, as in the First Chapter of Ephesians, and we know that Jesus said, "No man can come to Me, unless The Father has drawn him." However, as in the case of The Rich Young Ruler, even though he was definitely drawn to Jesus, he chose not to give up his riches (which was applicable in his particular case, with his particular heart-attitude) as he refused to follow Jesus..... which was very sad...... :(. Here is the thing.
Functionally speaking God can accommodate both election and a free will coming to Christ.
It is a de jure election because God exists out of time and knows who will be saved, so from God's perspective all is known
However, de facto, all who call upon the name of The Lord will be saved. From the point of view of human beings here in the world, there is no election, everyone can come the The Lord.and therefore for a Christian right now, functionally speaking, they themselves come to God.

Jesus said that no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son CHOOSES to reveal Him. He also said that no one can come to Him unless the Father draws them and enables them. Words like these don't need to be interpreted, they speak for themselves. Once God has chosen someone, of course they are His for ever because He will never let them perish.

Greetings. Calvinism is indeed a wicked doctrine. We will go over Matthew 11:27 and John 6:44. I will start with Matthew 11:27 which deals with irresistible grace. If you read the next verse my God says 28 “Come to me, (((ALL))) you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” My gentle and humble God wants (((ALL))) people who are weary and burdened to come to Him and He will give them rest. Isn’t this ironic but, john 6:44 actually kills Calvinism. John 6:44 ““no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.” Very famous verse Dr. James White uses on his debates. The whole chapter of John chapter 6 is made up of his preselected apostles from Israel and the already calloused Israelites who are being judicially blinded by God from seeing the truth. The reason his audience walks away is not because God rejected them from before the foundation of the earth, as Calvinism presumes. By no means! God has consistently expressed his desire for the repentance and faith of the Israelite people. God bless you.

John 6:44 refers to the Father drawing us to the Son. Where does it say anything about enabling us? And what exactly does the Father enable us to do?
One more question, you say God will never let them (whom God chose) perish. Does that mean that a believer that slips into sin, and sin when it is full grown leads to death, is that believer still forever saved?

Did Jesus my God keep Judas in His hand? Judas was chosen by Jesus to be 1 of the 12 apostles. For although Judas was elected as one of the twelve apostles, he then later betrayed my God. Christ couldn’t keep Judas as His apostle. My God failed to keep Judas as Hos apostle. My God doesn’t fail. It was Judas own Freewill. You mention John 6:44 once again. How would you then interpret John 12:32? Revelation 22:17 says, “Whosoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” Calvinism, however says it actually means: The ones I (God) chose, will take of the water of life. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Calvinism, however says this verse actually means: For God so loved the ones He chose, that He gave His only begotten Son, that those He chose WILL have everlasting life. Joshua 24:15 says, “…choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve…But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Calvinism, however says this verse actually means: There is no choice, rather, God will decide whether or not one will serve the Lord. 2nd Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is…not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” Calvinism, however, says this verse actually means: The Lord is not willing that any of the ones He has chosen should perish, but that all of the ones He has chosen should come to repentance. Matthew6:8-10 says, “…therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done.” This is a prayer. If God’s will was already being done as per Calvinism, then why do we need to pray that it will happen? Hebrews 3:12-14 says, “Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end…” This is a call to not harden our hearts and depart from the living God, and to hold our confidence in Christ steadfast until the end. According to Calvinism, we can’t make that decision; God has already decided. John 1:29 says, “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” Calvinism, however says this verse actually means: The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the few that God has chosen. 1st Timothy 1:15 says, “This is a faithful saying …that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners…” Calvinism, however says this verse actually means: Jesus came into the world to save (ONLY) the sinners God has already chosen. 1ST John 19 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Calvinism says, this verse really means, the ones He has chosen WILL confess their sins, and He is faithful and just to forgive them their sins and to cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Calvinism calls confession a synergistic work; meaning a work of faith added to what God has already done. Also, there is no IF in Calvinism. Revelation 3:20 says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” Calvinism says, this verse really means, “…when the one I have chosen hears my voice, he will open the door…” Luke 13:3 says, “…unless you repent, you too will all perish.” It doesn’t say, “it doesn’t matter if you repent UNLESS I have already chosen you.”

Unconditional Election is the false doctrine that God chose who would go to heaven and who would go to hell before the creation of the world. It teaches that humans have no say in the matter, we don't get to choose to put our faith in Christ. Calvinists will explain this away by saying that if you are of the elect, you will 'want' to put your faith in Christ. The logical conclusion of unconditional election is that God created billions of souls that he never had any intention of offering salvation. This is not the God of the Bible. If you would like to understand more about this topic, please watch this video, the explanation starts at the 10:40 mark.

    Exodus 8:32
32 And Pharaoh HARDENED HIS HEART at this time ALSO, neither would he let the people go.
God hardened his heart by allowing him to choose to harden his own heart. Works like that...
    John 1:12-13
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the WILL of the flesh nor of the WILL of man, but of God.
    John 7:17
If anyone's WILL is to do God's will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority.
    2 Peter 3:9
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone TO COME TO REPENTANCE.
Over and over the Bible talks about our willingness to come to God.
"Calvinism denies man’s free will to obey or disobey God, which is the basis of man’s responsibility and accountability, as taught by the Bible."
Calvinism is heretical. They cherry pick verses. They teach that free will does not exist despite what the Bible says. They do not believe in a rapture. They also believe the 1,000 year millennium reign of Christ is happening right now. The list goes on and on. They don't believe people can deny Christ and go to hell if they are "chosen". As if we can spit in God's face all of our lives and still get to heaven if we are one of His "chosen", His "elect".
    2 Peter 2:20-21
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
That means when the sinner that had the full gospel then refuses the gospel his last state will be worse than his state before knowing Christ.
    That requires free will.
On the cross, Jesus became sin. Everyone's sin. Not only for "whom He chose". They believe we lost free will when Adam sinned. They believed that by the first sin we lost the ability to love God on our own terms.
Augustine, one of which influenced John Calvin, said, “by subverting the rectitude in which he was created, he is followed with the punishment of not being able to do right” and “the freedom to abstain from sin has been lost as a punishment of sin.”
This goes against everything the entire Bible preaches.
    Beware of isms.

So, if faith in Christ were possible purely based on free will, there would still be an elect - whoever made the right choice. But then why would those who chose Christ make that choice? In Jeremiah, God says, "They built the high places to sacrifice their children to idols, something I did NOT command, nor did I speak it, nor did it enter my mind." Joshua said, "CHOOSE you this day whom you will serve." ALSO, you will never convince me in a million years that the God of the Bible, who IS Love, is the cause of EVERY evil you can imagine; Satan worship, child molestation, prostitution, drugs, alcohol, pornography, human trafficking, murder, rape, not to mention, the Christ rejecting religions of Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Atheism. A Calvinist noblewoman was possessed by a demon. She exhibited many classic signs of genuine possession, including replying to questions in whatever language they were asked. The Calvinist ministers were unable to cure her, and so hesitantly approached the local Jesuits.
The Jesuit rector replied to them:
“Don’t you consider our ceremonies superstitious and our exorcisms meaningless? Why then do you come to us? Is it faith or necessity that brings you? Send your own ministers and your schismatic priests, and see what power they have over the Devil. Then come to us. For it’s only fair that the trial should be considered as a proof of the reality of the two religions.”
The Calvinists said their ministers did not have the power to cast out the demons. So the rector agreed they would see the woman.
    The account continues:
“After this, a visit was made by the Catholic authorities to the woman to see if she was really possessed, which they soon confirmed. As soon as the rector sprinkled her with holy water and touched her with a relic of St. Ignatius without her knowing it, she began to writhe and twist her body, saying that a bone of St. Ignatius tormented her.
As the rector was even more eager to heal the souls of the Calvinists than the body of the woman, he instructed them to bring the book of Calvin’s ‘Institutes’ or some other book containing their own dogmas and give it to the woman. This was accordingly done, and the Devil began to kiss and caress it with great marks of joy. The rector then took it and hid a picture of St. Ignatius between the pages; then he presented it to her again. The demon drew back, screaming with anger, and would not even touch it.
Being compelled to acknowledge what it was he feared, the unclean spirit answered, ‘The picture of St. Ignatius that you have placed there!’
The Calvinists were greatly confounded at this, and one of them said in anger, ‘You Papists have a good understanding with the Devil, so you can do whatever you want with them.’
One of the Jesuit fathers then said, ‘Since this evidence doesn’t satisfy you, let’s try this. I’ll pray to God that if yours is the true faith, the Devil may pass into my body and torment me, but if the Catholic faith is true, he may enter into you for one hour only. Will this satisfy you?’
Not one of them would consent, and all were silent. Then they earnestly begged the rector to assist the poor woman if he could. The rector promised and then went away.”
Every time one of the Jesuit brothers came to the woman, “she flew into a passion. However, if a Calvinist presented himself, she called him her dear friend.”
The woman was eventually exorcised after the brothers offered fasting and penance for her, the exorcist offered Holy Mass, and administered the rite of exorcism. After the demon went out of her, “right then and there, she solemnly renounced her errors and professed the Catholic faith.”
It is one of the great evidences of the Catholic Faith that whenever someone needs help confronting the demonic, they often (not always) have to call a Catholic priest to do it.
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ, who continues to cast out demons for the conversion of souls through the instrumentality of Your priests!

The OSAS doctrine has poisoned Christianity and is the cause of the misunderstanding of the relation between free choice and predestination.
While we are elect to know christ, we are not eternally secure. We can be like Judas and Ravi Zacharias, abandon a life of repentance and go back to sin.
As for those who are not part of the elect they are not saved from the coming judgment but they will be judged according to their deeds. They will inherit the earth. The believers are not the sheep of Matthew 25, don't you know we are not going to be judged with the world?
It's "the just" that will be saved and reveive eternal life too.

As a Calvinist, you can never know if you are one of the elect. 10 years from now, you might decide to dispense with your faith which according your belief means that you were never one of the elect in the first place. Consequently, you cannot with certainty claim the promise that God will keep you to the end because those promises are for the elect, and you might not be one of the elect. The only way that you can know that you are one of the elect is when you walk through the pearly gates after you have taken your last breath.

BIBLE : God takes NO PLEASURE in the Death of the Wicked (Ezekiel 18:23, 18:32, 33:11, Matthew 23:37, Romans 10:21).
Calvinism : God has Decreed ALL Things.
BIBLE : God has NOT Decreed All Things (Jeremiah 19:5/ESV, cf. Isaiah 10:1, 30:1, 55:8-9, Hosea 8:4, 1 John 2:16),

Little Johnny, God has predestined the minority of people to be saved and go to heaven forever, and He has predestined the majority of people to be eternally damned and burn in the fires of hell. We have no idea, little Johnny, if God has predestined you to be forever damned or forever saved.
We love you, little Johnny, but we accept the fact that God might not love you, and that He may have plans to send you to hell for your future sins. If you do find yourself one day burning in hell because He hasn’t elected to save you, just remember that we will always love you, even if God hates you.
Take comfort knowing that we are not like God.
We will be in heaven forever only because we were unconditionally chosen for salvation before we were born. That would be the only reason that we won’t be in hell with you if you find yourself there. It won’t be because of anything we did.
So also take comfort in knowing that. It may not seem fair, but who are we to judge God?
So again, if you find yourself in hell, remember that we will always love you as we forever worship the God who loved us but who hated you, the God who sent His Son to die for us but not for you.
Please, we ask, don’t let it bother you-if you find yourself in hell-that we love the God who hated you and showed you no mercy. We must accept the fact that God is sovereign, and He does what He pleases.
My dear beloved Calvinist, will you teach that to your children or grandchildren?
I suspect that your answer will be “never.” But why not?
Why would you ever hide the wonderful “doctrines of grace,” the “Bible truth,” from your own children or grandchildren?
