you coming would be a good decision, we are very hospitable and are tourist friendly unlike some other countries, there are some very awesome landmarks to see, for example if you are coming to baghdad (most likely since thats the most popular airport) i advice going to the shorjah and muttanabi street (both are connected) in shorjah is the mustansiriya school overlooking the tigris.

It's still hard to believe how little repercussion America actually suffered for just invading a nation. (not the first time obviously)
Well, it turns out when you piss all your neighbours, potential allies, and everyone else off, noone is going to stand up for you. Iraq didn't just peacefully exist until the US showed up, it fought another long and bloody war with Iran, which Saddam started, invaded Kuwait leading to the first gulf war, which Saddam started, and couldn't even get a good relationship with Syria when they were both trying to destroy Israel. Add this to the chemical weapons and persistently hostile policy towards the most powerful country in the world, whilst offering virtually nothing to other powers like China, it's not surprising America didn't suffer any consequences. The US can't just invade any country they feel like and get away with it, otherwise North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela wouldn't been invaded by now, especially considering how much oil Venezuela has. And can you give any other examples of the USA getting away with this stuff in modern times (because stuff that happened during the literal colonial period isn't exactly reflective of the modern world)? Afghanistan doesn't count, because they did harbour terrorists who basically declared war on the US and didn't give them up.

Calling Iraqi soldiers future ISIS is slander adn incorrect. Many ISIS leaders infact were trained and incidentally got together in US made jails after the invasion , like abu gharib. I think it's worth noting that Iraq in it's creation (Sykes-Pickot) was set up for failure. The borders are strategically done for them to never hold so mush power. Kuwait was a buffer and Iraq itself is a buffer. The whole thing was set up to prevent arabs from getting too unified, too powerful. Well, Saddam did a very good job during his time actually. He achieved a lot. And yes, he did horrible stuff too (I guess. Because if the press instists so much in that, I have to belive it idk...). Same with many middle eastern countries, I'm surprised they are as functional as they are, they were set up for so much failure from the get go.
