Just swaping sprockets on the gsx250r
im not a pro this is just what i went through to swap sprockets on my baby gixxer =d - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Thanks for the video was really helpful changing my front sprocket this morning
No problem it'll be a whole different bike and feel so much better!
please make more movie how to change air filter or spark plug and Etc.
thanks !!!
I'll add it to the list lol gonna be doing a owners review in a short while compared to the r3 and cbr300
What sizes do you recommend for front and rear sprockets for around town? This bike will barely see the highway and will only need to go 70mph max. I need more quick acceleration from stop light to stop light.
keep it stock you will still do 86 mph
what is the original size of the front sprocket 13/14 ? are you happy with the your crazy change 12t / 46T because the 1st gear is very short
Makes really fun around town bike though
What do you reckon would happen if you used 12t for front and 48t for the rear one ? Would you expect an increase about %18-20 in the torque and same loss from top end speed ? And also how would that effect the engine life and the dynamics of the bike ?
Your top speed would be like 70mph
It would do mad wheelies on first gear! IDK probably blow the engine once u start doing wheelies and constantly beat on it 🤣
@@ZedChop I’d very much like to keep the engine intact lol
So the max limit that wouldn’t create a huge problem with the engine would be your setup? 12t front and original back sprocket ?
@@ZedChop cuz I don’t care about the top speed at all I just like the acceleration. Here the max speed limit is like 110kmh anyways so
@@batuhanatc7419 ohh ok well yeah top speed on mine like that is 75mph but it sure is fun doing wheelies and riding in parking lots
Do you know the details of the replacement front sprocket please.
Yeah says so on the video! Its 14t stock replaced with a 12t sunstar sprocket!
Was your take off slower since you changed the back sprocket?
Honestly felt faster because u can rev it up higher! 1000 times better then stock if u run it in the highways!
Odd question. Do you know the specific torque for the sprocket or did you "good enough" it?
I certainly used enough uga duggas lol 😆
Front Sprocket is 88.5 lbs ft of torque.
Where do you get sprockets for these
I got mine from www.motorcycleid.com/suzuki-gsx250r-sprockets/?filter=1 Not sure who else has them! I could only get a 39t for the rear but it worked well in the highway!
Top speeds km/h ??
Can I use the stock chain when I upgrade to 39T in the rear
Yes, you may have to cut off a few links. I recommend getting a new one and keeping the old one in case u wanted to swap back
can you send the link to sprocket 13T
www.motorcycleid.com/suzuki-gsx250r-sprockets/?filter=1 try this site!
Do you need a tune after you change the sprockets?
No
I did not and no you shouldn't have to!
what is top speed with the 39t ?
why you change it to normal ? what is disdanse per drive ?
Topped it out at 103 mph with a 14t front and 39t rear and like I said in the video.
I actually put a 12t front and 46t sprocket on to do wheelies lol
@@ZedChop thanks for the quick answer ,i with 14t -46t and the to speed is 82 mph , now with your 12t the speed will be slow ,very slow :((, i bought the 39t you dont recomand to install it ? The distance to my work is 15 km thanks very much
@@iyiy7874 14 and 39 is fine for the highway u should be around 100 mph tops!
Do i have to reset my ecu if i change my rear sprocket to the 39t
@@antoniogomez9082 not necessarily I didn't unless u want to tune it and get a correct speed measurement I wouldn't worry about it.
What sprockets sizes you used to make it go faster?
14T front! Its factory and 39T on the back!
14/39 will give most top end ive heard there is a 36 possibly 35 made by JT sprockets
Try
15front/38rear
or
13front/37rear
another time 😁
No one made that size sprocket, at the time anyways idk about now. Was very limited at the time, did u find that size or something
@@ZedChop you'll be able to find it another time
@@dikydiky7252 when u make them ?
@@ZedChop a long time ago works in rv125 idk with gsx250r
