I can't get this freakin wash n go right. My texture is coarser than yours, but I am going to keep trying until I get this right. I think I am underestimating the need for more water. Thanks for this, your videos are straight to the point. No nonsense, love it!
Yes, keep trying! That’s what I love to hear. It’s extremely frustrating at first but with practice and time you will get it right for you. I used to not like uncle funky’s because I wasn’t using enough water and working it into my hair well enough. keep me updated, I wanna know! ✨
@@BrittanyMia I finally did a successful wash and go! Thanks for the encouragement & the tip! I needed more water and also I wasn't working the gel into my hair long enough. Now I know what it feels & looks like when I can stop raking. 6th try was the charm.

I love both of these soooo much!I love the super curl to redefine my ends through the week! First of it dries so shiny, it never give me flakes, super moisturizing AND great ingredients

@@BrittanyMia thank you, I'm not trying to be disrespectful but with a schedule like mine, my happy time is watching video's for hair and beauty, if they're too long or unnecessary chatter I move on to the next video. Being in corporate you want to make the most of your time and other's. Also same my scalp gets itchy and flakey on day 4 so that’s when I wash my hair as well. I rarely make it to day 5 by that point it’s really really itchy and potentially larger flakes. I’ve accepted that I have an oily scalp and have to wash my hair every 4 to 5 days.
I found that when I don’t use a leave-in or a cream my scalp doesn’t itch until about day four or five. but whenever I use a cream or non-gel styler my scalp gets inflamed.
@@BrittanyMia YESS it’s like oils (my natural hair oil) on top of oils. The thing is even before the detox and after (I’m still using the same principles) it’s the same I need to wash every 4 to 5 days. It’s just now my styles look better and last longer during the period between wash days.
@@BrittanyMia Also not using heavy products means less washing come wash day. I noticed heavier products tend to take more time and more washes to cleanse out of my hair the next wash day.
@@PreppyFay12 exactly. It really does take more time to shampoo that product out. I can tell that I’ll probably stick with the two days a week of shampooing after the detox because it’s so much easier to do my hair when I don’t let a week pass. I lose less hair and time.

So pretty 💕 and one question, how do you get your hair to lay like that at 7:41 I know you said you shake it but I’m confused on how this works…I’d like to try it out myself.
I cover my face with my hands and shake my head side to side and up and down to separate my curls. I do it kind of hard at first but not in a way that would hurt my neck.
It looks like that Supercurl gave long lasting moisture from the video before this. I may try it.
I agree. For this week’s video I added the Supercurl back in and it did make my style last longer. It was also softer with the cream. I’ll be uploading it here within the next few days. Still, I’m curious to see what difference the detox could make. I’d love to eliminate any unnecessary products.
@@BrittanyMia Your hair is in really condition. You've maintained it well. Does the Supercurl have slip?
@@thecure3982 Thank you. Yes the super curl does have a slip and it makes it easier to detangle before adding in a gel.
Thank you I never saw this comment. I wish that I had. I waisted so much time not using products the way they are recommended. I wonder if UFD would have worked for me if I had used it like this. I now use creams to do wash and goes exclusively due to how my hair suffered before. I also use oils.
